Such a key technical aspect, something hit and cold level players like me experience and must engrain.

Love it. Thank you! Makes me wonder about the push on the serve too, especially the platform bc there are two legs involved but each has a different role

Absolute game changer. A very good solution to overpowering the baseline all the time. Subtle yet superb instruction Steve thank you very much. 👌👍🎾

Hi Steve, wide base it is quite important for any stroke, isn't it? Thanks for the video

Sure helps staying low in forehand as well as wide too if ball is below your waste. Same could be said for backhand as well, same push off back foot highly desireable for more power. Up & into the ball can inject a lot of pace throwing your opponent's concentration off. If your opponent doesn't understand how you got it, you're really getting into their head same time as surprising them. Stealthy aggression, tricky to anticipate. Talk about setting your opponent back on their heels! Watch Rublev forehand he's constantly doing what Steve's teaching but if you don't know what to expect your opponent has got you right where they want you. Confused, full of self doubt. Rubie-s balance is extraordinary. He'll blast away from that one back foot repeatedly, in a pinch. 👊
