turn off your p and l, watch the price action, and take profits often, most of the time your position will come back on you from being up to ending in a loosing trade. identify the range that the stock is tradeing in, to base your decision on how far the move might go. you will be suprised taking those profits often on smaller moves will add up

Take profits.. always target the recent swing high/low Never stay in too much beyond the recent high/low

@@SurvivalHunting Thanks a lot for your input. The devil inside me does not let me be satisfied with small profits. As soon as it sees that the market is moving according to my strategy, it brings the calculator out and starts calculating how many points should the price go before it can recover all the losses over the years!! I keep convincing the devil that it is okay to take small profits and over a period, i can make the money that i lost earlier. It is like that person who lended the least amount but bothered the most to Jesse Livermore. !!! I dont know how to give assurances to this devil inside me who gets active as soon as i sit in front of the terminal..

That’s not true. I don’t know if it’s an European thing but we have stock leverage up to 100

@@tumorsaregood9728 The amount of leverage being used is a shitty metric. With stock leverage you can have far larger moves even though forex uses a larger leverage. That's simply because the moves in the underlying are much higher in stocks. 10% daily move in a currency pair would be world changing, with stocks 10% is just a bad earnings report.
