The instrumentals have punch, the lead vocalist has a strong and stable voice, and I love the way the chorus steps in. Great lyrics too. Great band.

I remember featuring The Dirty Youth on my radio show 'Breakfast In America' on Phoenix Radio back in 2011 and I went on to interview them at their gig at the Borderline in London. I was expecting big things, they were definately the "UK's answer to Paramore". I just came accross them again whilst reviewing some of my show recordings and remembered how great they are.

It's really hard to be a chick in a punk band there's only so many "female" colors to do so they end up looking a lot alike in between dye jobs. But that's about the end of the similarities imo.
