For sure twisted sick! But that is their "culture". For us in west where Christianity was the religion, there was so much fu**ed up things going on as a whole but then it evolved and became more "human". I can only hope this for other countries with "old" thinking ways. Im NOT defending any abuse, violence in ANY WAY, NO!! Absolutely NOT! I live in Sweden and even if we now are more "civilized" than hundreds of years ago, there was some extremely bad and even hard to believe things going on, because it's so far fetched from where we're now. Maybe some countries, sadly have a harder and longer road to go for it to become more human.

@@g.h.7661 German women were r@ped by Russian soldiers at the end of WWII. It's estimated that "Russia left one million of its bastards behind" to quote one Soviet soldier. However, these German women were not shunned. My great-aunt by marriage had one of these babies and my great-uncle adopted him. They just kept their chins up and moved on in Germany - fully functioning members of society. The prevalence of the r@pes became obvious when a female journalist's book was posthumously published. The title was "Eine Frau in Berlin" (A Woman in Berlin). I highly recommend reading it. The German woman who wrote the book was intelligent, educated and resilient. The book changed my life.

Isobel Yeung is a brave and intelligent woman as well as being a phenomenal journalist. This story must have been extremely emotional for her (and her crew). We can see the pain on her face and the tears she was holding back as she was rightfully affected by the emotional stories of all these women and children who have been raped. Not only that but just being there also put her self in danger of the same potential outcome. Isobel goes where many other journalists won't even think of going and brings us the whole story directly from the mouths of those she interviews. Her own take is a summary of what she learns. I hope we can continue to see her for years to come but I hope even more that she never has to experience any of the horrors she's ever investigating.

Women are so strong and resilient, is what I see in this documentary. Women are mostly peaceful and very able to cooperate with each other. Who are the war makers in the world, it is the men. You have to be joking. Women are the ones who are the least empathetic and impossible to work with, at least in Europe, and as soon as there is peace they F it up, like they have in Europe voting for massmigration that has caused massive v1ol1nece and problems. In this case yes, the women are obviously not to blame for this.. don't compare these Africans to Europeans tho. We're not the same. Never have been and never will be.

Children overcome things easier. I know I did. People just feel that way about children because they feel protective over them. But adults can go through worse trauma as a result because they understand the wider implications and they have fewer supports. Older adults feel just the same way about children being hurt as they do about adults who are their children’s ages. It’s all about the experience you’re going through as an observer, rather than the experiences of individual victims. The only thing I’d say would be worse for a child is if it’s their first sexual experience, which can happen at any age.

The poor girl was shaking, and it broke my heart. It's demonic, and evil. The innocent babies are also victims. MARANATHA!

Seeing that baby in those stirrups having to get a exam literally made me throw up. These poor people may God come and protect them.

My god! This is tragic. I’ve never condoned other countries stepping into local conflicts but this would be a time to do so. F_ck spreading “democracy” we should be stopping atrocities like this.

I agree. In instances like this I say screw 'political correctness'. I know that Africa has been badly affected by colonisation. But this is a humanitarian crisis. I feel the same about child sacrifice and child witch accusations in parts of Africa. Outsiders have to step in.

As much as we may want to intervene to stop these atrocities, it won't help in the way we think it will. It would be like another American invasion of Afghanistan, no actual changes will happen unless the locals take action.

Call for an **effective** ban on conflict minerals and gems. In this case, international metals/materials conglomerates are buying coltan from whatever armed group is selling. That should be criminal.

who do you think is funding these conflicts in order to gain access to the resources. Hint it’s the countries using the most chips…

@@mialar Multinational corporations have more money than many governments. They buy governments, or hire mercenary armies. International law _enforcement_ is needed. ...Not saying here that governments in the west aren not complicit, mind you? But this is a capitalism problem.

The big question, like basically always is: What makes people become *SO* full of hate, not even giving a flying fakk about watching other people being tortured, raped or killed. How can some people have SO much lack of empathy and compassion??
