Tris (Shailene Woodley) escapes with Four (Theo James) to journey beyond the wall that encloses Chicago. What I have loved most about the trilogy was honestly the amazing relationship between Tris and Four, like no matter what Tris decided to do Four was like "I'm in" without even asking explanation, like where she goes he goes with her and that's it, it's implicit

Tori's death in the movie is a total opposite from the book. In the book, it happened in the dark, and also Tori and Tris weren't really on speaking terms, since Tori had become pretty unhinged and aggresive during the events of Insurgent (when Tris was basically considered a traitor to them, and she and Tori had a violent interaction when Tori wanted to kill Jeanine). Her behaviour kinda made me dislike her, but then it felt like a bullet in the heart when they discovered that George (Tori's brother) was actually alive at the Bureau, his death having been staged. She could've seen him again, but she died. At least in the movie, she died with hope, having seen the outside world.

personally, i love the movies too. they might not be very truthful to the book, but i think they wouldve great movies on their own. the first one is pretty close to the book I’d say, and there’s some scenes that they added in the movie that I absolutely love

One of the best scenes ever in movies-there is the real thing believe it or not in the supernatural world when you are a Christian & True Follower of Christ. NEVER give up! Stay the course in whatever God is directing you to do no matter what kind of opposition you encounter. You’ve got this because God’s got you. Check your inner circle. I couldn't watch this movie beyond this wall scene. The first 20mins are so excrutiatingly bad that I had to stop. There are many plot wholes in all the movies, but they concentrated the worst for this scene: Caleb running up the wall, falls down and can't get up, seriously? So he never fell down and stood back up in his life before? Four needs to go down and literally picks him up? Bad. Then the generator scene: So apparently people want to get out but they can't because it's prohibited. Fine, no logic there but I can live with that. It seems like they need to electrify the fences so nobody can get up and over the wall, which makes sense. And their solution to this is to put generators at the foot, alongside and on the inside of the wall near some bushes?! Every kid passing through can cut or even unplug the damn cables, how stupid is that?! So Tris sees this (because who wouldn't?!), decides to drop down and runs towards the generator, Four close behind her. 3 vehicles with armed Factionless and maybe some Dauntless can't manage to hit them when they run in a straight line? Are you kidding me? Meanwhile the others didn't bother run up the wall entirely and stand on the wall, they wait hanging there for Tris and Four to come back and then keep on climbing... But ok, one vehicle explodes because Tris blows up the generator and once they cut the no longer electrified fence, they chill up there, talking like there aren't two vehicles left with armed guys? The moment one of them gets shot on the wall is so predictable that I was shaking my head before it happened. It doesn't get more stupid than that and watching any more of this horseshit is a complete waste of time. How anybody can rate this movie with mor than 3/10 stars is beyond my comprehension.

Now that I’m thinking about it, (and re-reading Allegiant), I’m thankful they didn’t make it like the book. It’s seems almost like Romeo and Juliet throughout. I like the movie but the book makes me CRY! Plus Tris dies in the book and I Bawled after that.

I recently rewatched these movies because I loved them when I was growing up, and after watching them again, it has made me realize how bad they actually are. Hunger Games is better in literally every way. Not to mention that they never actually finished the movies, so it just ends with a cliffhanger.
