Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching verse-by-verse through The Book of Exodus in this sermon from Exodus 3:1-6 entitled, “The Divine Disclosure of the Holy God (Part 1).”
The writer’s purpose in Exodus 3:1-6 is to record the manner in which Moses was drawn to the burning bush where the LORD would reveal Himself and His purpose for delivering Israel out of Egypt. Exodus 3-4:17 is, up to this point in Scripture, the longest recorded passage of God’s disclosure of Himself. In this section, draws Moses to Himself, calls Moses to His service, reveals Himself and His plan, empowers Moses with signs, and supplies Moses with an assistant. In Exodus 3:1-6 we see an overarching theme that God is self-sufficient in power, unapproachable in holiness, and undeterred in His purpose.
The following is a sermon on Exodus 3:1-6, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
