Lowkey reminded me when I didn’t want to let go of my old phone that my friend who passed away gifted me. It was literally smashed, chipped, needed a charger to stay on it would die within 10mins and I would need a toaster or hair straightener to heat the battery 😂 GIRLLLL

idk how they do things in the US but where I live you can offer to sell a phone even if it's not in the best condition and they pick out the functioning parts, they usually buy for devastatingly low prices but still money

400 Fahrenheit or Celsius? Best to specify when showing a method that others may try and replicate. Especially seeing as it didn't show you taking the battery out first. And also especially seeing as you're Canadian, and they use both F and C.

Little helpful thing from a fellow repair tech, we order the whole housing for our customers, replace it, and then refurbish their old one so that we have an extra one for our next back glass repair. Since you have to remove internals anyway, we figured this out and it works out pretty well.

Hi from south Africa 🇿🇦...I worked for samsung once upon a time like a year ago...is only iPhone that stuck that you gotta use a laser and Crack methods to remove the back glass....at samsung for back glass removal we had a heat machine with a vacuum that pulled it..or we just used the oven....and suction cups...love your repairs bro...keep doing great work💯👌🏾🤝🏾

I did this for a friend and struggled on removing all the glass but by the end I chose to just buy a new housing and move all the components to the new housing but all that heat gun time and glass removing time consuming was horrible

So when I worked at ubif this young lady from a nail salon across the street came in and asked me if we sold just the back glass separately from the repair.. i told her we didn’t because well. We just didn’t. I told her we’d have to use a lazer machine anyway and she told me she replaced her iPhone back glass before with a hair dryer…. I told her that seemed really difficult (actually impossible) then she left. Lot of people smoked a lot of pot near our store

I removed mine without heat took me hours…but I did it I used a bit of heat in some areas…also no glasses got a lot of glass in my eyes but it’s like sand it won’t hurt…just comes right off
