This documentary explores the challenges faced by frontline NHS staff during the COVID-19 crisis, focusing on Milton King's Hospital In England, UK. The hospital is dealing with a significant number of COVID-19 patients, with 63 confirmed cases and 35 suspected cases, as well as staff affected by the virus. There are concerns about the availability of protective equipment (PPE), with shortages in reusable gowns posing a challenge. Bless all the nurses and doctors, all the cleaning staff, the dietary staff porters, etc, in our hospitals for selflessly being there for the ones who needed them the most! If it wasn't for the people like you, our world would look completely different, so THANK YOU! ❤

I remember. We had to go cry in the stairwells. So many lost, although many saved, too.

I can't believe it's been four years since. It seems like yesterday. I had a couple of friends may age (in their 30s) who were otherwise healthy but got covid and passed away. It was such a difficult situation because we couldn't even mourn properly. They were immediately cremated and we could't gather to pay our last respects. Their ashes did not even get proper religious rites until months later when things were relaxed, and priests could visit homes to bless urns. I myself was not diagnosed with covid but I suspect that I had contracted the virus but didn't get too sick. I'm suffering from parosmia. It's been 4 years and I still sometimes smell smoke or something burnt when there is no smoke around or anything burning. I have consulted numerous doctors and taken some supplements to no avail. Worse is I also got diagnosed with T2 diabetes with diabetic retinopathy in 2020. The pandemic has indeed traumatized me to this day.

This only shows part of the behind the scenes. Every day even now, the water pollution control plants are testing the water 💦 to see where there are cases. When I had it in 2020, it attacked my kidneys, and put me into kidney failure. I also now have COPD. Have a great day ❤️🙂⚘️.

They did Tik Tok dances despite being stretched to the limit and exhausted. Their priorities were solid.

For people complaining about the tiktok dances. You do realize these people have breaks and time-off? My mom is an orthopedic nurse who had to work with covid patients because of the sickness among other staff and she too found it very difficult. People who were healthy died, it was such a strange time.

Shame on anyone complaining about it. My God the mental toll it took on the poor staff that looked after these sick patients. Just like the safety procedures in an airplane states you must take care of yourself before you can take care of others. They were exhausted, scared, missing their families if a tik tok dance brings them a little joy then so be it.

Were they really? In Germany, hospitals were largely empty, they had a very low rate of patients admitted. Dunno about the UK.@@t.ellevision

@catkasimir Any health care professional will admit that if a patient of theirs passes away, it affects them regardless of what causes the death to occur. During the pandemic, everyone was scared and unsure of what was next. All I was getting at is to give people a little grace. A little bit of a leeway. Even if their hospitals weren't full and they weren't stressed to put on a little dance for tik tok to spread joy to others during lockdown is pretty cool. Social media kept people connected when we had to be apart.

@@t.ellevision OK, ok. The point I was getting at is: This was all fake and we did not need to be apart. In fact social distancing did more harm than good but that's probably no use explaining to this corner of the Internet.
