Yet another excellent fingerstyle set of lessons. Sorry I missed the live version yesterday, But greatly enjoyed the youtube playback. For those that may be considering becoming members...I highly recommend David’s Fingerstyle Five... there are so many great things I’ve learned, despite having played fingerstyle for 20 years + There’s nothing like having first hand almost direct line to a pro to provide feedback and specific exercises to improving technique AND the musicality of what you’re playing. I have greatly improved my technique in the form of steady bass, alternating thumb, developing melodies, arranging the song, timing...syncopation or adding syncopated notes...was huge learning for me. Really excellent stuff!!! David’s music and albums are excellent and worth checking out, and I would add that his skills and teaching methods are 2nd to none. Excellent Teacher! Cheers to ya... and Keep on Fingerstylin!! (Oh yeah and wash your hands often!)

Comparable to Stefan Grossman in your natural abilities as a teacher. Yes these times make us feel conflicted in escaping the realities around us. But more important than ever to learn and immerse ourselves in making music.

Tom....I thought the same thing as it regards Stefan Grossman's prowess as both a player and teacher. Grossman is one of the very best and clearest out there, but David surpasses even him! This is GREAT stuff.

I don't currently offer any private Skype sessions or anything like that. But I do try and respond / critique everyone who posts their work in my monthly Fingerstyle Five membership.
