Someone probably told you already, but The Governor achievement is probably just a reference to the Walking Dead villain. The first "the living threats are worse than the undead" guy before they beat a dead horse with that concept in the show. Maybe there's a "sacrifice everyone" option in the zombie level.

my first thought when i saw Dont Escape Trilogy was “but there’s four of them!” lol clearly the comments agree. the fourth game is one of my favorite games of all time. this was a lot of fun, what a throw back!

Omg I played these when I was younger! Immediately as soon as you started the first game I recognised the cabin instantly. I wish there were more horror/puzzle games with this pixel art style. It’s so cool and creative!

I wanted to see how many an electrified fence would have taken out. That would have been cool!

The red wires in your inventory can be used to connect the generator to the fence, thereby electrifying it. The coin can also be used to obtain the shopping cart, other than the bolt cutters.

Something about this being a steam release including multiple games made me think of it: have you ever played William and Sly? It's a super relaxing 2D platformer that plays like classic Metroid, just super simplified. It used to be a flash game, but they released it on Steam fairly recently for free. You play as a fox in a forest and you hunt down mushrooms and secret passages. Its chill vibe really suits you.

i was obsessed with don’t escape 4 for a little while, it’s got some really fun replayable content too! not only would you love it, i’d love to see you play it! after mark praised scriptwelder to high heavens in his gameplay, i bought the deep sleep series and the don’t escape series and couldn’t agree more!

Scriptwelder is one of my favourite game devs, his games are all so atmospheric. I remember the time Markiplier played them all these years ago. I am glad to see you try them now. If you haven't yet played some of his stand alones, like 400 Years and A Small Talk at the Back of Beyond, I highly recommend them. Don't Escape 4 is a great puzzle survival adventure, but if you are not doing well on time management you'll find it extra hard. I do believe you can beat it, and without a cheatsheet at that.

For the 2nd game, you should’ve placed the wires on the fence and generator ⚡️ so as to electrify it. All you did was barricade it.

Using wires to connect the fence would have been interesting to see what happens, but I still very much enjoyed the trilogy!

this was super fun!

The second game actually had a lot of possible endings depending if you recruited all three characters or not. It was entirely possible for you to survive but the Father and Jeremy not to make it, stuff like that. Various endings with 1/2/3 characters surviving or not.

I did not recongize this game series, or at least the devloper, until you clicked in and i saw the font text. Deep Sleep was one of those weird indie horrors I watched when I was younger so it was lind of nostalgic seeing this game

Lol gab being hella observation but also super unobservant at times is so funny cause I swear I'm the same way. I'll notice every single tiny detail to the point I don't think of everything and just over look stuff al the time

The second game is by far the harder of the three and I don't blame you for having a harder time with it. I've played these through several times and I still can never remember everything in the second game when I replay it. It's okay if these games aren't super clear on what you need to do. It's less okay when it's not so clear on what you're able to do, which is where the second game lacked polish. Personally I rank the games 4 > 3 > 1 > 2 Also, getting the priest is a bit unfortunate. It's really easy to make the connection if you talk to the priest before you see the drawing on the wall. The priest says "I've lost hope" and the picture says "there is hope". But if you see the picture first it's kind of meaningless and a lot harder to make the connection. Don't escape 4 is most like the second game, but much more polished and generally clearer with with a lot of references to all of the previous games. It's also much longer. It's really good and I hope you play it!

You should play Contradiction! It's an atmospheric FMV game where you play as a detective to solve a murder in a creepy town. But it's also full of funny moments and dialogue!
