Awesome. KZfaq is a blessing for us Doors fans. So many live shows and content related to the band in general are available. Plus great interviews with band members and recordings of Jim reading his poetry. Jim's lyrics and poetry taught me and introduced me to words as verbal paintings. Meaning the visuals words evoke in the minds eye are powerfully amazing.

It's definitely up there. I personally think their second show on the second night at the Felt Forum is their best show of all time. I also have to say that their Dallas 1970 early and late show are awesome because of all of the rare LA woman songs that were performed.

No. Presumably, some of their early 1968 shows in New York were the best of all. Morrison was a shadow of his former self by mid-1970. They still played all the old stuff, added this long jam and maybe 2 new songs just so that Morrison couldn't really mess up the gig.

I was there. I remember Jim wearing shorts asking if anyone had a surfboard. Some girls gave him a couple of boards.

Thats awesome im jealous of you this was 36 years before i was born and is one of the doors best shows from 1970. This recording is a great listen but there are a few cuts and drop outs here and there so you were lucky enough to have experienced the whole show in person

This is, arguably, the best Doors concert with an audio recording. I could easily say it's my favorite of all their concerts.

Harrison Ford was a film crew assistant during the filming of Feast of Friends back in 1968. This concert, Harrison was not present.

So, not meant to offend anyone; however, it's tuff to believe that, even in 1970, these gents weren't still *dosing* I could be way off base; i'm presuming, based on laws that changed, talking about LSD in public was not tolerated, etc; seems only Hendrix continued to take&not back off; the instrumental by Ray in #LightMyFire is reason I ask ThankYou for posting this show~its exceedingly amazing; everyone I throw on theDOORS, especially, *live*, I get immediate rush of energy~hyperactivated~i'm sure am not only person that agrees/experiences this Peace&Love&Happiness=Peace&Love&Happiness&TheDoors

E' Vero che le loro Performance, non sono delle semplici Esibizioni(si,magari ogni tanto) Ma Aveva completamente ragione a definirle delle Vere e Proprie CERIMONIE!!!! Great recording and great show. I wonder if it could be subtly remastered to remove the bleed through in the right channel that was, presumably, from whatever was recorded to the tape before this. It would be nice to hear it without the added delay as well.

I honestly don't know? I got the Wav. Files from a Doors bootleg site years ago. I'm sure if you search ebay you may be able to come across it. If not then get a blank CD, an empty Jewel case, and make your own bootleg!

it's literally on ebay all the nsu recordings are!! pricey this is $99....now on ebay The Doors - Live at the Honolulu Hawaii Convention Center 1970 April 18 seller is begullac-0 ...i wanna buy all boots from doors he has as a doors fan but so pricey!!!
