A wonderful video and a most beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, I will never be able to stay in a place like The Dorchester; but I hope to visit London one day and enjoy afternoon tea at The Dorchester. PS: I do not know how the old Dorchester looked like but the new Dorchester is magnificent.

I’m hungry now. Not a huge fan of the style of the Dorchester but I very much like the “same but different” feeling. They have done this renovation with a lot of respect for the original decor.

Its a shame that they haven't (to my knowledge) produced a documentary about the Dorchester. No doubt people will have seen Claridges, Savoy and the Ritz etc... But would be great to see a year in the life documentary about the place!

Bonjour Lartisien! I am a tremendous fan of your channel and wish to congratulate you on yet another beautiful video. Im am always so inspired by your passion and sincere devotion to finding and sharing the hotel gems of the world. I am always telling other people to watch your channel as it really is so far above what most others are doing on KZfaq. Since I love what you create and want to see you guys be as successful as possible, one essential detail I need to bring to your attention. Please be aware that the last handful of videos were only 1080 and not 4k. When watched on a TV, this makes a tremendous difference. I watch all of these on a larger 4k TV (as most people in US cities now do) and it is tragic to see all your expensive hard work (the travelling, filming, editing) revealed in a such a soft low-resolution image. If you want others to think you are a luxury company, I'm afraid 4k is a necessity these days. And if there's one thing I learned from your channel, it's that details matter. Thank you again for all your incredible hard work! Wishing you and your brother every success from NYC.

No because that is the next step of the renovation which should be completed this year. The first step of the renovation project was only the public areas. Thank you for following us !

Thank you so much for your comment. We would have loved to show you the rooms but room renovation had not started at the time of our shooting. They are in the process of redoing the rooms right now and the first ones should be finished in May or so.
