Get the suspicion you might have been short of time but wanted to get the set of these out. Not just the script but also how time consuming editing the audio can be. I used to have loads of “eh” edited out of my podcast and would only send pre-recorded stuff for a radio show I did for exactly this reason (I rarely used a script but the key things were prepared). It’s the errs and the energy levels that are difficult to deal with live or on the fly. With me editing errs was like swatting flies, kind of “there’s one” whack. But in the end sometimes it’s just best to get the thing done as it can end up just sat there never being used, which is such a waste. Can safely say you’ve done a million times better than I could in those circumstances. And tbf I imagine a lot better than many others who do it for a living, as we rarely get to hear the things that are usually edited out or were redone. Looking forward to seeing yesterdays match. Was interested to see the clean sheet in the second half after such a bad start for Dorking. Yeah, I checked the score when Bradford City were playing Salford. All down to this docuseries.
