As a retired paramedic, I say this has all the earmarks of drug and alcohol abuse, possibly mixed with the onset (at least) of menopause. Judging from the reports, it looks like she's headed down a dangerous road. Hope she gets the help she obviously needs, to include psychotherapy, and REAL rehab, together with the acceptance of her status. Good luck, Heather.

I've been a fan of Heather Locklear since Dynasty BUT I have to point out the HUGE double standards here. It seems she has a pattern of violence towards partners, family, even law enforcement, if this were a man the repercussions would be so much worse!

I give Heather a lot of credit for not beating the breaks off Denise Richards or Richie for that matter. That was a huge betrayal from her man and her best friend. I hope the best for Heather in the future. Favorite Heather movie - Texas Justice.

Edie I know right? I was thinking that same thing. That is the worst to cheat with one's bff. That takes a toll physically too. I couldnt eat or go out when it was done to me. 15 yrs later the scar reminds me of that past. With all the men Ms. Richards chooses her best friends husband. She's got some Angelina Jole in her. She's done this before.

A childhood friend of mine who lived near to Heather Locklear when she just married Tommy Lee described her as kind and down-to-earth. The Bible warns about 'transference of spirits' via intimate relationships. Guess she inherited some of Tommy's demons. Hope she can find her way back to her kind and personable self.

She's going through what allot of these good looking Hollywood female actors/singers end up going through. They often struggle to come to terms with age. When their looks start to fade and they begin to find it harder to get roles and realise that they've lost their value in the marketplace, it's tough. The average person understands that there's no shame in getting older and Locklear arguably had a good innings (she was still smoking even in her 40's) but the celebrity craves the attention. What Locklear needs to do is just accept that her time is over and look forward to enjoying later life with her family and wealth. She has a beautiful daughter she can live through.

Jack Wagner was a rocker too just not as famous as the others. People are trying to act like she's an insanity ward patient. Truth is she hit a rough patch after her divorce and her career fell off somewhat. And she was over prescribed anti-depressant. Nobody gets out of this life without dealing with some problems or a tragedy and if you haven't don't worry--its on the way. . Smh, some of these comments must be from teenagers. She's a talented & charismatic actress certain she'll bounce back playing more complicated and mature roles.
