Hi, enjoyed the video. Very informative. I wear Widex Evoke which wasn’t mentioned at all. I’m happy with it. I find using the sound sense learn while in a situation a bit revealing as it’s not really convenient to be programming a hearing aid while around people. Just not discreet enough.

I just got a new charger for my widex moment 440 that fully covers the hearing aids as they charge. The chamber, I believe ,also serves as a dehumidifier. I have traveled with this new charger without problem. Model is mRC ChargenCiean. Model number is WPC101 .

I have the Widex SmartRIC 330 on order. AuD suggested the brand for my moderate hearing loss and tinnitus (which I think is moderate to severe).

Widex does have a charger with a lid: Charge N Clean for Moment SRIC R D (or BTE R D). It's kind of pricey, and features UV LED sterilization. Additionally, the Widex Sound Assist actually does more than Widex advertises in their marketing literature. It can also be used as a mic/BT interface to a Windows or MacOS PC (using a feature they don't mention called "Talk Back"), using BT 4.2 with the PC. Widex HAs do not have hands-free phone calling (their HA mics not used for that), so this does work to enable that, as well. It comes with a neck lanyard with a magnetic clasp, which is easier to use than their well-built, but finicky shirt clip.

Can the customer use the Sensiogram themselves? It would be cool to see frequencies while I am adjusting my stereo, esp where the subwoofer switches over to my 3 way speaker.

At around 24 minutes in, Dr. Cook has it exactly right: The Sensogram can't replace Real Ear Measurements for ensuring hearing performance. However, I HAVE found that if the audiologist admininstrates the Sensogram and THEN does REMs, they are closer to target than they would be if the Sensogram hadn't been completed. So, doing a Sensogram provides a better fitting than not if doing REMs isn't available as an option, but the combination of performing the Sensogram and then verifying with REMs provides the highest possible chance of ensuring patient satisfaction. Best situation: Doing Sensogram AND REMs. 2nd best: REMs only. 3rd best: Sensogram. Worst: Neither is performed.

Sorry to be so late in asking this. Do you have a good estimate on average total battery life on the rechargeable moment HA's? Also, can the rechargeable batteries be replaced? If so, how much should that cost? I'm currently using the Widex Beyond 330s, and my aud is telling me that she can't adjust them to fit my current hearing loss level. So I have no experience with rechargeable HA's.

How do the Sontro otc hearing aids compare to what the Bose hearing aids were last year. I tried those and returned them (it looks like the are now sold under another name).

Great show . Considered Widex for the music features but decided against this model. I have a considerable vinyl and other music media collection. I also was not impressed by the Zen fractal tones. The other feature that I found interesting was the colors. I hope that other manufacturers develop color lines as the hearing impaired population is getting younger and even though i do not fit in the young category, i would wear purple or a bright sunshine yellow color. , Even though i like music,I can’t say that i have ever had a discerning ear for music.Also i am not technically savvy. I can barely run the program set up by the provider. I doubt that I would use or need a lot of these features. Thank you for a very informative show.

I own the Widex Moment 440. And you guys are correct about the charger. The worst design I've ever seen. But I love the hearing aid, and wear the Com-Dex to stream 6-8 hours of audio each day. I do wonder how other brands do for heavy streaming use.

I forgot to comment on your market share graph. Where did those numbers come from? Why aren't you breaking down Sonova and Demant into their individual brands like you did with Signia and Widex? And it is Signia not Siemens. Are these US numbers? What is the source? They can't be global. Worldwide Demant, Sonova and WSA each have about 25% of the market. Stop being so American centric, especially if you want to expand your business to other countries.

You really need to get accurate info from Widex before you do these videos. They have great chargers that don't fall over and have solid covers. Their color options for custom aids do not look like the picture you showed. You need to do a better job given your influence,
