Tears. So much insight. I needed to hear this. I am learning so much here. I feel like I’m just beginning again.

I hear him talk about these groups a lot, where are they?? I could really use one for what I'm growing in, so many times I identify with the caller and part of his answer is, "get into a group" but I live in such a tiny town on an island in Alaska... Is there hope that I could get into one of these? I'm not sure but it'd be really great.

Check out the crappy childhood fairy. The name is so lame!! But there are groups on her site. Free daily practices to get rid of the negative and resentful thoughts. It’s the 1st place I’ve found with a group and an accountability partner if you do her program. I’m not affiliated with her. Just found her so real & unlike anyone I’ve ever heard. Can’t stop telling people about her. Hope you find a group Andy!

Missed it on this one. This guy was asking how to rid himself of his negative thought patters about himself, And his propensity to project that onto others and blamed them for his thoughts. If that isn’t addressed he will continue to be defensive and project issues on to others. Even if others love him well, he will not be able to except that because of his own negative thinking patterns and will continue to be defensive and difficult relationship. Just my thoughts.

Interesting how we all perceive things differently. 😊 I thought he did address those things perfectly. 😄 He needs to learn how to be loved (others and self-love), without feeling constantly at threat of attack (habits he probably learned as a child or in past experience). This is just new skills that need to be practised. Learning to listen to others and receive feedback without feeling threatened. This was my favourite Dr Cloud call I have heard in a while. Learning to love and be loved is something many of us didn't learn early in life. 😊
