Not really. He said he messages some inapropriate messages, not that he was sexting a minor. Inapropriate message can range anywhere from a dick joke to sending a nude. Surely, first one is inapropriate and would invoke some side eye but second one is criminal. Question is what was really texted there.

So that would make Twitch liable while Cody was an employee, but Cody himself wouldn't be liable unless he signed a NDA as part of the settlement. It also wouldn't make twitch liable for the actions of Cody if he's no longer an employee. Its a legal document which requires a signature from the party agreeing to the outlined things not to be disclosed, also includes a witness signature attesting to the signing of the document by the signee, with both providing a date/time. Also, let's go with the hypothetical and he sues Cody, well that's going to cost a fuckload for the legal team for discovery, trial etc at least $250-500k 2+ years of time To my knowledge Cody isn't balling out on Millions of dollars in assets. So he'll end up throwing all the money away to get a judgement where Cody will never be able to pay the damages.
