Fun Facts: The members of the Dream Team combined for 23 NBA championship rings. The Dream Team roster combined for 15 NBA MVP awards. When the NBA at 50 released its top 50 players of all time in 2017, a total of 10 members of the Dream Team made that list. The only players that were not on the top 50 were Chris Mullin and Christian Laettner. The 12 players on the Dream Team combined for 117 NBA All-Star Game appearances. Jordan and Malone led the way with 14 appearances each over their entire careers. Eight of the top 50 NBA scorers of all time played on the Dream Team. That list includes Karl Malone (36,928), Jordan (32,292), Patrick Ewing (24,815), Charles Barkley (23,757), Clyde Drexler (22,195), Larry Bird (21,791), David Robinson (20,790) and John Stockton (19,711). 👀👀

21:36 angola gets rebound swarmed by 3, great behind the back pass out, 4v2 fast break for angola, slightly off pass to open man in front and...bird, who was off camera (and likely on another man), shuts it down completely by getting in front of the guy receiving the pass before the ball arrives, and the faster footspeed lets the rest of team USA recover before angola knew what just happened. Might be quarantine talk but I was legit so impressed by that one defensive play.

Bird is on laying on his stomach, because if he sits in a chair, he'll never get back up.. Larry Legend's playing his last profesional games just before spinal fusion surgery. Magic is on his basketball deathbed as well, with SEVERE tendonitis in his knee's. A decade of going at each other in the greatest Basketball rivalry any of us have ever seen, had taken it's toll on the best two players I've ever seen. The Olympics were Larry and Magic's gifts to us and each other. These guys played through career ending pain in Barcelona, better than most of today's players play in their primes.
