This is one seriously good looking watch. Considering the saphire crystal, I personally would definitely want to wear this watch more than just as a dress piece. However, I need at least a date complication to justify that cost and to extend the usability scenarios (everything else is already there including awesome lume application). Bottom line, if it was 9015 instead of 9039 with a color matching date at 6 replacing some of that abundant print, it would go straight to my short-list. Nevertheless, as-is, it absolutely well rounded and beautiful watch. Breathe of fresh air. Thanks Kieron for giving it proper spotlight. And you are right, with 9039 and saphire (design is a given) this already hits above coctail time.

I think it absolutely has enough to be used as an everyday piece. Especially with that great lume, the legibility in general is quite good, 50m is more than acceptable for an everyday piece, sapphire... But yeah, I know a date is a must for some to be a considered an everyday beast. Nonetheless, it's one stylish piece 🙏 thanks for watching and taking the time to comment my friend

I would disagree regards the date complication. Sometimes it is better on an Automaitic not to have one for ease of setting. With a dress watch, unless it is a beater dress watch, it may sit in a box until your next function if its not part of a rotation. I have a Farer Mansfield that is almost double the price of this, and it benefits from not having a date complication as I tend to switch it out a lot.

Exactly my thoughts. I could use without the brand name at all, just the logo, which is nice. A simple automatic at the bottom is sufficient to balance the dial, but for me the name so big is the deal killer.

This isn’t a watch you wear in the shower anyway. The price is very good for a watch with as much hand made detail. People will pay for what they generally want. Beautiful colour. Great video.

I have this watch, but with the lighter Mint Green dial. On the Beaucroft website, this watch is $499 USD, not the $600 in your description. But, it's a good dress watch and I like it!

It doesn't have the patterns, and by extension, light play, of the Seikos, but it is just as beautiful.

Thank you for introducing me to this brand. The watch presented is a _stunning_ piece and certainly worthy of being in that conversation of affordable dress watches. I have a few Seiko cocktail time versions and I enjoy them. This watch certainly has lots going for it and the price point would make me strongly consider it over any future Seikos. I want to stress, for *me* all that text on the dial is diminishing my enthusiasm. If there was a version sans the brand and model name it would be an *_instant_* buy and I would mark the expected delivery date to lament over as the excitement built. Perhaps they could implement such a choice on future offerings? I hope so.

Beaucroft actually offers a piece unique service where they'll design a watch with you. I'm not sure what the price looks like on that sort of thing but I know it's an incredibly cool thing to do. The dress watch is always an area I've struggled with... This one has come the absolute closest to being the one. And it still might be. I'm just glad the beauty comes across on video... Sometimes the aesthetic doesn't translate well. Because it really is one of the prettier watches I've seen in person 🔥 Thanks for watching my friend. Stay well 🙏

nice looking watch and i have too disagree about the strap. seems like a very good length for 7 and up. i hav an 8 inch wrist and wish more companies would make longer straps.

Very nice size and specs. Price is a little high for an unknown brand but everything else sounds perfect. I love the cocktail time and would happily buy one despite the lower spec. However this is a serious contender.

Price is actually cheaper than I state in the video (an error on my part). It's actually £425 or $499. Which makes it even more of a bargain. I'll never be considering the cocktail time again personally, this watch is just too good. I wouldn't be able to live with the flaws knowing that they don't exist elsewhere

I always find the seiko presage a little too big for a dress watch imo. They just nailed the dimensions and its just not only a dress watch but also a day to day use for anyone who's looking for a good looking watch tbh. The movement, dial design and LUME ON A DRESSY WATCH, like what more you can ask for. I may not able to afford this but what a time piece. I'm pretty sure it will even get compliments to anyone wears it.❤

Seems like a nice watch, Nicely spect for 500 USD. I think the Seiko coctail watch is not very good being too thick, too heavy cheap mineral crystal and I don't see the value for what you get. I like high-beat watches for a smoother second hand and I like slim and light weight.

That's a really good looking watch, if a little on the expensive side, although I would prefer to see a date at the 6 and maybe a screw in back, I would still choose it over the cocktail time.

Looks good but too many words on dial, I'd remove the Cambridge and just keep Beaucroft and size it down a little. Secondly, the movement, Miyota 9039 is just average, the rotors are known to be quite noisy. Seiko Presage has better movements, that are more reliable and quiet. I like the style of the watch watch though, and the leaf hands. Beautifully designed, with a nice decoration on the rotor. I would not say this is better than a Seiko Presage, Seiko has a long history of watchmaking compared to a startup company, and all their watches are built inhouse but it's a nice alternative for it's original dial.

Thank you for putting the price in pounds. I think it's been pissing quite a few Brits off that you quote prices in dollars. Why not quote both prices then everyone's happy?

This is a British brand, so pounds is the native currency. Most brands deal in dollars, so I talk about dollars. I really don't think people are 'pissed off' about this. And if they are, that's pretty sad.
