I’m very impressed with Wade’s improv skills and his recognition of genera and style, in that he can listen to just a bit of a song he’s not heard and go, “oh, I know what this is!” And just play along as if he’s heard that exact song before.

But it's actually smaller diameter = higher, bigger diameter = lower, thinner = lower, thicker = higher (and louder) So if you want a cymbal with a low fundamental frequency, you want a large (in diameter) thin one

Glad to see the appearance of the all-DXP steel cymbal kit. It sounded about what I expected it to sound like. It was both horrible and amazing at the same time. 10/10 would listen to clanging steel disks again.
