The cheap looking mirrors sound great to me after replacing the integrated hand guards/indicators a couple of times on my Multistrada 950S. The DesertX looks designed to be dropped 👍👍👍

I have a Desert sled and got a DesertX a few months ago. Was planning on selling the sled but I love them both so much. Just keep them both.

I have had mine now for 6 months and I can say it is the most fun I have ever had on a motorcycle - I haven't ridden the 890 r though , but have the 500 excf for the harder tech stuff - my comment though was to say that the decat pipe and silencer kit not only drops 12 pounds but also eliminates any heat to seat - but even before the pipes I didn't notice anything substantially more than my previous bike which was the 850gs - love your channel BTW

My biggest hesitation is not the price, but the maintenance frequency and costs. Good looking bike that performs well like a Ducati, but... it's also a Ducati.

I'm so so glad you did an offroad video again!

Selling point for me is dealer network. There just isn't any Aprilia dealers anywhere close. The ducati is around an hr away. So for me the price isn't an issue it's dealer availability.

I wasn't going to watch the video, not because I hate adventure bikes but because I can't afford Ducati. But then I saw the title and it made me stop and think about it for a second. So I decided "hmm, now that I'm thinking about it I guess I'll watch." So it worked. I watched the full video but I have to leave a dislike because I was manipulated by the title and I fell for it and I knew I was falling for it and I know you know I knew. But! The video was good. Glad you enjoyed the bike. Glad you got the opportunity to go out and take a look.
