Why? Do you enjoy seeing a baby bird just tryng to stay warm and sleep, but can't because it has no mother duck and os trying unsuccessfully to get warmth and rest from a kitten, but has to keep chasing the kitten around and trying to burrow underneath for warmth. There is nothing ' cute" about this situation

@Tar Von This is very simple..the cat is a predatory animal. The duckling is a prey animal. These categories are assigned to specific animals in specific species whose instincts are displayed in certain ways. The duckling has not been offered its natural mother whose care and protection the little creature is desperately trying to get from the kitten. And it's plain to see though while the kitten hasn't become aggressive (yet) it hasn't and can't really become this duckling's caretaker and nurture this duckling in an appropriate or meaningful way As I was saying, because the two have been thrown together in an unnatural way they are looking for companionship from one another but if to look closely the ducking isn't really having its needs met and the kitten (who isn't even an adult) is still playing with this duckling as if it were playing with another kitten because it is just going by its instincts. If for one second the kitten forgot or didn't know its own strength and swiped or jumped on top of the duckling or extended it's claws it would cause great harm. So when I responded to the person who said that the pairing of these two creatures was cute and expressing some notion such as "love conquers all." I do not think that this person is seeing clearly or identifying the truth about what is going on. I do not " have it all right," but I believe that this is not cute or natural or inspired. It's a clear example of how humans are not being respectful or responsible to the creatures with whom we share this planet. I hope this response has satisfied your curiosity.

Suddenly you now know the origin of when, where, and how the duckling was "found," whether or not it has actual parents, and you also seem to be completely aware of what its wants and needs actually are, in said 9min video.. As though you yourself have been to that location and have studied the two for days, off-camera. I'm sorry, but you don't seem to have the slightest clue and I wouldn't be surprised if this was the 1 & only video from the uploader that you have witnessed. FYI: The duckling has parents, and siblings. The kitten(s) and ducklings have their own relationship, and the video is showcasing the way in which this duckling and kitten have an inseparable bond with one another. The kitten in no way treats it as another cat and is surprisingly gentle with it. -- You'd know this if you observed multiple videos from the uploader - and understood the purpose of why they chose to upload it. _"I do not think that this person is seeing or identifying the truth about what is going on"._ What you said about the OP are the exact words that apply to you. I couldn't have said it better, and I'm not trying to be, 'that guy' here, I'm literally just sharing my two pennies in response.

Don't delude yourself as to what exactly you are watching. The duckling who is very much in need of a mother and its siblings . Obviously, because of the duckling was not kept together with its own mother (I guess that's just not interesting enough for the people who post this stuff) so they offer up this kitten (a predatory animal) and this kitten has now become imprinted onto the duck ( who doesn't know any better) role of the mother. The kitten is not its mother and doesn't really know how to nurture this duckling and will someday most certainly become the predator that felines are born to be.
