FYI you should always put the dry duck food in water then give it to them. I was told they have no saliva glands, and the food can cause lacerations that can lead to infection. Lovely video.

とにかく癒し🐱しかない。我が家のニャンタではぱくっと(笑)。一度庭でほふく前進の末雀を捕まえてしまった事があった。あわてて、ダメって言って頭をはたいたら、あまがみだったので飛んで逃げて行った。リードを付けられているので雀をくわえたまま走って行けない残念なニャンタなのでした。

I think as the kitten’s is the duckling’s friend, they used the kitten to calm them down so they could climb over him and jump out. The kitten certainly wanted to help. Interesting problem solving.
