In this video, I delve into its history and share how you can make your own Frikandel at home. This video is the first of four in which I dive into the world of Dutch snacks. Ingredients
100 grams of pork fillet (can be substituted with minced pork)
200 grams chicken fillet (can be substituted with minced chicken)
3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 tbsp ice-cold water
Enough Oil to deep fry
For poaching
1 Boullion cube
1,5 liters Water
Spices
1/2 Teaspoon Onion powder
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic powder
1/4 Teaspoon Piment (All Spice)
1/4 Teaspoon Ginger powder
1/4 Teaspoon Cumin
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Black pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Enough for 4 small (12 cm +/ 4 inch) frikandellen
