Hey man So I really struggle with barre chords. I’ve been playing 3 years. Unfortunately, I have been trying them for a year and I always lead with the pointer finger and then land the rest which might be why it’s hit and miss. Sometimes I land it perfectly and other times I miss usually because the pinky does whatever it wants. It is so awkward now to try and go back and land the other fingers first and then the barre. I just can’t break the habit and it’s frustrating. Thoughts? As well, I have this habit strumming where I’ll play the rhythm right if I focus and then I always end up in the down down up up down up pattern. It’s so frustrating. Thanks for your channel. Hi Ryan. Some quick tips: - Practice landing the pointer finger first - Practice landing the other fingers first - yes, practice it both ways! - Look directly at your target before you begin to move your fingers.
