The EASIEST orange cake in JUST 5 minutes!!
The cake is so soft and the orange flavor is so YUMMY!!
Try this orange cake this winter, add a cup of tea or coffee, and enjoy the cold weather with the soft and airy orange cake.
you can change the orange to any other flavor (Clementines, Lemon...)
(use any baking pan you would like)
Ingredients for the recipe:
4 L-size eggs
1/4+1 (250 g) cups of white sugar
3/4 cup (150 g) canola oil
1 cup (240 ml) orange juice
2 cups (280 g) plain white flour
1.5 teaspoons of baking powder
1 vanilla sugar
For the syrup over the cake:
1 cup (240 ml) orange juice
Preparation:
Heat an oven to 356F (180c), and grease a baking tray well
Beat eggs and sugar in a mixer for 4 minutes to get a light and fluffy mixture
Lower the mixer speed and add canola oil and a glass of orange juice
Add flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar and mix well.
Transfer the mixture to the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out dry
Take the cake out of the oven and pour a glass of orange juice over it.
Cool and remove from the mold.
Keep the cake tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to five days
