the most tedious thing is that people manage to find 2 gorgeous boxes without a diglett meter before they even manage to get a small mysterious shard

This didn’t age well, can’t retrieve legendaries from home unless you already caught them in bdsp, it was the same issue in sword and shield so I just have legendaries taking up spots

@@jamesmklinkhammer1 unfortunately yes. No where did data miners, or the games code reveal that the Diglett boost affected mysterious shards. They maintain a constant % of appearing, however if the bonus is active, there will be a 3x3 spot taken up by shiny boxes, taking up room that a shard could've been in.

This ! Good information, but the part about the Mysterious shards is just wrong.

@@garandsho723 I would do his method of quickly checking your items and then just spamming the hammer if I didn’t get a shard. Took me roughly 2-3 hours to get all the legendaries completely ignoring the digglet points

Thank you so much for this advice. I had only found 3 small shards my whole time playing (which were wasted because Regirock used struggle and fainted before I could catch it). But ever since going underground at the resort area I’ve found 4 large shards, & 3 small in just 1 day

@@alexiscallejas8679 The Mystery Shards are use to trade in exchange for Slates at the shop in Ramanas Park. The Slates are use to summon Legendaries so you can encounter them. Literally almost all the Legendaries from Gen 1 through 3 are at Ramanas Park. Problem is you have to get 3 of the small Mystery Shards or 1 of the big Mystery Shards to make a single Legendary encounter appear and it can take awhile to just find a few in the Grand Underground as you'll have to grind for a good couple of hours or more to get enough just for one summon sometime. And you can't go to Ramanas Park until you completed the Regional Pokedex as it doesn't become available until afterwards.

@@alexiscallejas8679 Your welcome. And a heads up advice: The shop sells different Slates after buying the first Slates which are the Discovery Slates. The other Slates don't show up until after you have defeated the Legendaries in certain shrines. Don't make the mistake of buying the same Slates at the shop as I mistakenly did that after grinding a few hours for several Mystery Shards. If you buy the same Slates, they won't work in the other shrines to summon the Legendaries as certain Slates only work in certain shrines.

he claims the odds to find a mysterious shard are slim to none (if there’s no shiny diglett boost ) but I got 6 small and 2 large mysterious shards within 1 hour WITHOUT the 40 diglett boost lol . and same here , i found those shards b4 i watched this video so the diglett boost doesn’t help at all for mysterious shards

You can’t dig up mysterious shards until after you encounter dialga/palkia. Hope this helps!
