This is the easiest way to catch from Good sized to Big sized Seabass in Japan. Lure fishing is effective but this fishing style is way more than lure.
Que *Top* Pescador Parabéns belíssima Pescaria! 👍🎣🐠🐟 Sucesso Boas Pescarias.

Great catch! Sometimes they are only feeding on live small fish, and you made a perfect presentation. That fish reminded me of a common snook that we catch here on the gulf coast of Texas, USA. Great videos!
@KakaponSupopon5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, in this day, there are 2 other anglers casting lures and they caught nothing. I came after and threw this minnow and boom. Instantly got this fish. Snook? Oh, I have never caught that. I will go to Texas to catch one someday.

Hello from Spain, Very nice and amazing video. Like! What kind of float were you using in this video? Also, were you using a lead or sinker in this rig? Thank you very much.
@KakaponSupopon6 жыл бұрын
It is my honor to have a comment from Spain. Appreciate your positive comment. This is not exactly same float but same kind. Search for "Iso Float" in following link: amzn.to/2MnVGrm you can find lots of them. And, for sinker, I was using a plate sinker like this: amzn.to/2Oaac6o Hope this helps to bring you more tight lines!
Hello, sir, One more question, what kind of hook were you using in this video? Thank you very much
@KakaponSupopon5 жыл бұрын
Oh... hmm...since japan is using different standard for the size of hooks.. Well, according to the standard in Japan, the hook size I used for this fishing is #13 for seabass. Thank you for your comment!
I always wonder what a bait shop looks like in Japan
@KakaponSupopon5 жыл бұрын
I think that would be interesting to you though the size of store is smaller than ones in North America or Europe since the size of country is small. Thank you for your comment!

This is a good video. I don't know why there's soo many dislike.
Is there a minimum/maximum size you can harvest certain kinds of fishes in Japan? I'm curious.
@KakaponSupopon6 жыл бұрын
it depends on place . Some place have such regulation but not in the place in video.
@Lakhshamana6 жыл бұрын
What about licenses? I saw a lot of US fishing videos and they have a system of licenses for fishing in public waterways. We don't have licenses here in Indonesia, so public waters are usually quite depleted, or fairly good because fishing has been banned altogether in the particular body of water.
@KakaponSupopon6 жыл бұрын
I think it is same to your country. Fishing in Japan is not as strict as US. You are not required to have a license in most of places but as you said, fish population is kinda depleted due to many reasons in urban area.

I’m surprised that you didn’t use snake as bait! Good catch, congrats, live bait or dead one?
@KakaponSupopon6 жыл бұрын
Haha, I wasnt sure that that snake is poisonous or not. So, i cant risk my life for just using long bait which is not even sure whether it's effective as a bait. Oh, that small chub-like fish is live one. Live bait is awesome!
@markjing15506 жыл бұрын
must be expensive to get those live bait

how fast did sea bass attack? how come you didn't eat it this time?
@KakaponSupopon6 жыл бұрын
oh, really fast! way faster than we can imagine. the reason why I dont eat river seabass anymore is because i already tried once and taste was really bad.
