Fishing Store "Tsurigu no Okabayashi Kamimachi branch "
www.turigu.co.jp/index.html (Only in Japanese)
Facebook: / tusiguokabayashi
There are still many more I couldn't introduce in the store. Check out this store when you pass nearby!
※Dear Y.S., thank you for sending me a nice T-shirt! Love it!
◆Introducing my membership site written in English and Japanese! In this site, I disclose:
・Rod, reel, and tackles I used with pictures
・Fishing skills and techniques I mastered, and websites I use for fishing
・Condition of surrounding environment such as boiling, about other anglers' catches
・Exact location of fishing spot(※1)
・Early access to new videos(※2)
・Exclusive videos
・Fan request(※3)...etc
There are different benefits in each rank. If you are interested in, please take a look
Membership site→ / kakaponsupopon
※1:To prompt depopulated areas economically by fishing tourism(and for my personal income as well), I am introducing my fishing spots, but they can't be revealed in the following cases: target fish is rare(ex, Japanese Barramundi), severe fish depletion can potentially be caused by revealing the spots, it causes the troubles with local anglers, it causes severe environmental destruction, and any other cases that revealing spots can be considered as inappropriate.
※2:You get early access to the new videos that aren't currently airing before they are posted on KZfaq (one week ahead). However, I sometimes forget to set videos as public and left them unlisted.
※3:It's not always possible to provide videos, information or anything else that meet your expectations. For example, fish has season to catch. It is impossible to catch summer fish in winter.
【Instagram】Short movies, best scenes from videos, photos, etc
Instagram→ / kakaponsupopon
【Mogu Mogu Nature】Sub-channel offering the videos of home garden, Prawn pet, wildcrafting, etc
Mogu Mogu Nature→ / @mogumogunature7590
It was very embarrassing to talk alone in English in the store in Japan....

My friend that is into saltwater and bass fishing here in the states is a Marine was station in japan and he told me he visited a tackle store one day that blew his mind of all kinds of tackle that exists in japan compared to the states. He said to have spent a couple of hours just browsing around in shock to all the quality products on display. I remember him saying no fish is safe in japan cuz tackle exists for just about anything that swims ...heck he even joked that there's tackle perhaps to catch tadpoles. 😅

I really enjoyed your presentation~ You didn’t spend to much time on each item. And You catalogued each item according to target species. Well done! ❤️👍

So cool to see the inside of a fishing store in Japan - I obtained my license to fish here in Germany last year and I got a gift voucher for a local store here in Germany last Christmas, but so far I've procrastinated on actually going there, lol. Super cool to hear you narrate a video for once, too. Not 100% because English is my second language, too, but I think those Polychaetes are mostly called Ragworms in a fishing context... and bristleworms in an aquarium context.

Thank you Kakapon for taking us along to the fishing store and even explaining everything in english ; ) There are a lot of things that are very similar to the regular German fishing store, but also a lot of very different things. The amount of tackle and bait you have is unreal...... purely insane xD. A lot of things like EGI lures and chum boxes or Tai Jig are almost unheard of over here. But for example lots of Rods, Reels, Lines and Lures etc. you can also buy in German shops. If you want to buy quality, you buy something from Japan. I hope you are doing well, love your videos as always ^^ --Seabass, I am pretty sure there is a gigantic Seabass still waiting behind your floating fishing house to be caught :P

I always thought the English subtitles showed a level of proficiency to be casual but it's cool (and a surprise!) to confirm that you are indeed fluent! And speak some level of Portuguese to boot! As for the Polycaetes, while I'm not personally familiar with them, it seems like people either just call the class "polycaete worms" or "bristle worms" (according to Wikipedia anyway).

But we often see crazy amounts of lures, rods etc. Last month I visited one of the few fishing stores in Rome, Italy. Same thing there. Fewer reels but tons of lures. Isn't the best lure some cheap protein stuck on to a hook?

Japan is the heaven of anglers. I wish to visit Japan and to see these shops in my own eyes. If possible, fish with Japanese anglers. Thank you for your informative video .

You are very welcome! Fishing stuff varies stores by stores. If you visit the store near the sea, you might be able to get lots of live baits

It looks like a better selection of accessories than here in the USA. Sometimes it's hard to find smaller tackle here. Most people just target crappie, black bass, and catfish.

Black bass? You don't call it, Largemouth bass? Black bass is the way japanese people call largemouth bass... . Or, is there any bass called Black bass ?

@@KakaponSupopon I think black bass and largemouth bass are two names for the same thing.

@@KakaponSupopon There are probably 10 or 15 names for largemouth bass here in the USA. And that's not including subspecies like spotted bass and guatalupe bass.
