Didn't realize it was Emma until seeing your comment. Last time I saw them Tim was saying they just went to a Wiggles concert because they know them. So actually an expected crossover for me. Haha.

In both directions. There's a segment on the Wiggles that has them with Tim Chaisson, singing "Squid Jiggin' Ground." My infant grandson will bounce along in time with it.

My husband and I just recently visited PEI to celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary. This song was released just as we were preparing to leave to make our way to the Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival for the first time. Our youngest child immediately spread out her arms and began twirling the first time we played it. Now when it's on, my memories are driving over the bridge, windows down, Wintergreen loud. We missed the merch. at the festival because we had Sunday tickets and most things were sold out, but we got to leave with the memory of the Sunday evening Barn dance. We love The East Pointers and their passion for their music and their island. Their sound is unlike any other, because they play who they are and from where they've come.

Just found this song and album by pure chance....it is absolutely fantastic. I am a big lover of Scot trad bands like Manran, Niteworks, Elephant Sessions etc and this is certainly up there with them...brilliant. A very happy Scot from Fife is now a fan 🏴🏴 🇨🇦 🍁

Heard the song on CBC, and when I got home I looked it up right away. Realized this wasn't ASL, then realized this was the yellow Wiggle. Now I'm going down a rabbit hole looking up stuff about the Yellow Wiggle again. This is the third time this woman has randomly snuck into my life and blown me out of the water. I am so confused and fascinated.

Martin, just read your comment from the CBC article about Koadys passing. So I assume Inverness as in Scotland, not Inverness Cape Breton NS. Nice knowing these talented lads and their music reached out over the world. A sad day, I believe their music will continue on.

@@chr970 I can confirm that these lads now have a following in Scotland. I saw them supporting Peat & Diesel in Edinburgh back in November and I instantly fell in love with their music. Heartbroken that Koady is no longer with us

What a beautiful song, and what a lovely surprise to see Emma Wiggle starring in the video! My toddler was especially excited. I have loved the East Pointers for a fair few years now, but it was really cool to see them performing folk music on a few episodes of The Wiggles show that I watch with my son. And now Emma is performing with them- such an unexpectedly cool collaboration!

This song is amazing and I can't help but to listen to it on repeat. THEN, I saw the music video, all I can say is WOW! Emma's dancing and signing performance was inspiring; a true work of art. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can't wait to hear the rest of The East Pointers album. Counting down the days till your performance at the Gateway in Calgary.

R.I.P Koady. Thankful for the mandolin lessons he taught me at a music camp in summer 2015. A really nice guy who was so open to talk and never once made me feel unwelcome to talk and hangout with him, Tim and Jake.

How can you tease us with this piece of music GOLD and not release the whole album!!! As you can tell, I absolutely adore this song and have had it on repeat since day 1. I have also learnt the banjo riff on my ukulele!!! It was the first time I have ever learnt a tune by ear, but I was desperate to be able to play it 🙃 sooo... thank you three for everything you bring to this world! Hope we see you at Woodford ❤️

This video is amazing on so many levels. I'll start with the music the song is awesome and it's a great spin on music that is made here in the Maritimes you guys did an exellent job with this song. Next Emma signing, Emma is amazing and a great advocate for sign language she inspires children all over the world to try sign language and she uses it for many different songs in The Wiggles. Then there's combining the music and signing together. Emma signs in Auslan (Australian sign language) and then we have your song and your band which is Canadian, this helps us be more connected with the people in Australia some people even say that Canadians are very much like Australians and what better way to show it than with this. So all in all this video is amazing and there's so much talent in it in Emma as she signs and dances and you guys as musicians with creating this song really makes the beauty of this video and connecting both countries together. I'd give this video a 10 out of 10.

Just to be clear, comment on this post or on the KZfaq video itself? :) (I'll comment on both just to be safe) The teaser you posted for Wintergreen excited me and I was literally counting the days until it's full release. I woke up the morning of the release and the first thing I did was listen to it and I was instantly in love! Since then I have had it on repeat and added it to all of my favourite playlists. If I feel myself beginning to falter, I listen to it and find myself carried away to a brighter place, where I can't help but feel happy and rejuvenated. Then the video was released and the happiness in my heart just exploded. I am hearing myself, but spent many years learning New Zealand Sign Language and have many wonderful friends in the Deaf community. Sign Language is such a beautiful language and it translates so beautifully and seamlessly into art forms, in this case dance and music. It makes my heart happy to see it expressed in this manner. And especially as a part of a music video for my favorite band of all time. The video captures the essence of the song, carefree and whimsical, full of joy and hope. It is beautifully presented and a joy to behold. I am beyond thankful for what your music does for myself and so many others.
