I'm currently working on creating a Knights of the Old Republic based Mini-Series using Unreal Engine's Virtual Production Capabilities. The first step is creating a trailer sequence as proof of concept before we begin work for the full series.

This looks so good. I just want to point one thing out though. You have a Corellian Sandcrawler there. The Corellian mining corporation came to Tatooine much later than the time Kotor is set. Maybe it is a temporary stand in model for the Czerka corporation's sandcrawler design?

@@DefecTec Let me give you an advice. Once you have arrived to Tatooine, bring Bastila in your team and her storyline will begin just after you have left the ship

Thanks to that encounter, Bastila will get over her traumatic childhood, something that will help her to distance herself from the dogmatism of the Jedi Order. Although that storyline can be avoided in the game, I think including it in the fan-series will serve as an important progression to the character

This looks like it came straight out of Fallen Order and that game was made with a team of AAA professional animators. This is truly impressive.

The most underrated characters in the whole Star Wars franchise. 🤪 Edit: Seriously though, I agree. It'll be great, because we're talking animal behaviour. Natural movements, which is quite a different thing than "static" machinery.

This render took about 30-40 hours to put together between modeling, texturing, level design, filming, and post-production! It's a lot of work, but also so much fun to see the finished product!

Agreed. Though downloading these videos off YT and swapping them with the video files in the base game would not be a socially-acceptable way to do it...it’s very tempting to try with this video since it looks THAT good.

To be fair, the geometry level of detail in the original FMVs was not so far off this one (I did check just now to refresh my memory). Makes you wonder if they designed it cleaner and more angular, to match early 2000s 3D better. Vs. something like the Falcon with its endless little surface details.

Everytime I see one of these updates I get so damn hyped for this project. The Ebon Hawk is probably my favorite Star Wars ship and to see it in this high quality feels me with so much nostalgia and joy from first playing through the games. Can't wait for the next updates! Keep up the great work!

I am hoping that you will expand the size of some of these towns, I feel Anchorage would've been a bit bigger than shown in the original game but wasn't due to hardware limitations. I feel that city would need a lot of residential houses, food stalls, and sandcrawler repair bays since Czerka is the one operating there having originally thought that it would've been a lucrative mining operation.

Alright, some sob showed me part of these videos and told me (jokingly) that he found some leaked footage of the KOTOR remake. I thought he wasn't lying since it's so perfect. This was absolutely beautiful, as a major fan of Kotor since BEFORE the game came out, 12 year old me could not control him self waiting for the release of this title. Watching this gave me the same feeling, thank you.

Ive kept up with these updates for a while now but this is my first time commenting and I just wanted to say this looks insane. The smallest details from the dirt and scratches, the sounds to the entire aesthetic. You've captured this so beautifully and although I can't imagine how difficult this project must be, you guys make it appear effortless. I seriously cannot wait to see this project flourish.
