You can’t have your cake and eat it .Today we can all look back and find out that the bulk of indentured Indian labourers came from around Orissa and Bihar ,just as well there have been many descended from the hill tribes.But we owe everything from those slaves coming from African mainland and Madagascar who cleared forests with their bare hands and brute force,constantly being whipped and their women raped at leisure The maximum lifespan of any slave hitting the shores of their new prison from Africa was only 9 YEARS.Many were summarily buried in a nearby hole when they collapsed and died ,worn out by the harsh treatment.As to he Tamil speaking South Indian descendants today they have been brainwashed that Tamil is a religion and can’t accept that they are Hindus but ask yourself whose son is Muruga? I constantly hear from a lot of the Indian descendants that the creoles are lazy not realising that it’s their forefathers who made it happen.Ehy don’t you go in the public sector jobs in Mauritius and ask yourself why creoles are few and far between ,considering that they are the second biggest ethnic group in Mauritius?
