Re-imagined opening credits for THE EDGE OF NIGHT if it were still airing in 2015. Although I said the 2013 version was the last of the EON re-imaginings, I might just keep doing these for a while because they are fun...and you never know these days...This is a fan made video. This is amazing. I grew up watching this with my grandmother starting in 1977, and the opening was always so mysterious and hair raising with the music and fade to nighttime. You recaptured all of that and the montage sequences were brilliant. For a second I thought this was an actual opening from a reboot or revival and I was over the moon thinking they did that. One of my greatest TV memories from being a kid were these soaps. BRAVO!

This is so good! I love the skyline ending as it goes from day to night which clearly pays homage to the 1980s opening for EDGE. I like the 2013 version as well. These are two perfect openings that should be used to spearhead a weekly primetime EDGE OF NIGHT comeback. I would use both openings, alternating weekly between the two. A primetime hour-long 16-episode per season series would be a great new way to bring the show back.

I agree with you completely except I'd say keep the original 30 minute format or better yet expand it to an hour but make it a weekly limited primetime serial as opposed to a daily sudser. It would make viewers tune in more and we could have more provocative content. Hell if added it to Netflix we could have even MORE adult content.

I was a 9 year old latch key kid who watched the last year's of this soap after school.. since then, I found old episodes dating back to the 1950s. This show should be revised...excellant job at recreating an opening... I love it...oh yeahhh!!! The edge of night!

i love it! man i wish THE EDGE OF NIGHT was still on. there were some amazing characters on that show, especially during the 70's and early 80's. (Geraldine Saxon, Raven Swift, Mike Karr, to name a few) those were some awesome days. your version of the opening theme is awesome! action packed.

No judgements here. Between the opening of EON from '77-'80 and the closing of Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, I've got regular water works going on. It's not just the shows, but the era that we miss. It was a great time to be alive! 😄

I wish it would, it could leave off with the cliffhanger, yes granted it's possible to have to get new actors or actresses, and even maybe get some of the originals too if possible. This opening is awesome , the 80's opening I always felt it was more of a spy theme opening which I love. The Edge Of NIght felt like a different soap opera than anything I've ever watched, everything else it felt like who was screwing who and so on, this felt more different, I use to watch some of the reruns on USA Network and that is where I first seen it, and liked it.

When I was a kid, I hated soaps. The Edge of Night was an exception. It had a different, more unisex focus and could easily be revived, either on Netflix or HBO+. The crime theme still holds up. Great job with the “what if” openers. I would most definitely be watching.

I totally agree. This was fact paced and packed with quite a bit of content. I would love to live in a city like this version of Monticello where action and love and scandal reign supreme. Excellent job!!

The only thing missing is the announcer saying "The EEEEDDDDDDGGGGEEE of Night!" Well done! Goes back to the soap's roots as a crime and courts-based show. Could you do one for "One Life to Live"?

seriously??? I REALY DO Believe that an REBOOT of EON could work.. But Unfortunately not as Soap Opera.. if they would make an weekly show out of it it might could be a new hit show again... but won't ever happen because of those stupid P&G jerks

This one is kind of cool too. I'd like to see you take the best elements of each video. I'd say start it with the skyscrapers going from day to night and end it with the guy jumping from the crane. Skip the flipping squares but keep all the creepy scenes.

God you are amazing! I live in Canada and we didn't get EON where I lived. It really shows how much society has changed since the show debuted and went off the air. You even showed how Sexuality has changed at 0:17. Could you do one to Guiding Light.

Hey, keep it up, You may never know, ABC just may decide to revive TEON. Keep on doing it, Please, I really like it. I used to Watch TEON back in the day. Great Job.!!!
