If you don’t treat your sleep apnea, you might create serious short- and long-term health effects, such as increased risk for hypertension, stroke and heart attack.

It's really frustrating when you have to wait 8 months for an appointment! Ridiculous!

I messed up my heart because I waited too long to get a sleep test. Ejection fraction very low.

What does that mean, heart damage? How many years have you been with untreated apnea?

Sorry to hear that. Btw, I thought weed costs a lot. He probably just doesn’t have the willingness to do something about it yet

You need to let him know how you feel. Don't tell him to do anything. Just let him know how much you love him and how better both of you would feel if he went to the doctor. Do not pressure him. Just show love. I have sleep apnea for over 8 years. This disease messes up your heart.

I've been dealing with obstructive Sleep apnea since my early 20's and now I'm 30 which I didn't even know i have it until I had the sleep study stay. I've been having some symptoms from it so far. My doctor wants to do lower jaw surgery so it can help hopefully.

Being 30, I can understand you may hesitate about using a CPAP machine. I’m 71 and use one every night to good effect. Jaw surgery sounds severe, though, and I wish that you could get by with a CPAP machine for a few years while technology advances and gives you better options. Best wishes.
