"There are rules - certain Doctors I can't play with." I love that line. It implies that at some point, the Doctor she knew told her which iterations of him knew her without telling her exactly when or how they met. We know from the episodes that she's seen all his faces, but it solidifies the point she has to be careful so that when it doesn't mess things up for that first meeting with Ten.

They're still settling Michael Throughton in as the new voice for the 2nd Doctor. It'll probably not be long before she meets him and Jaime. Along with 5, War and 9.

To protect the time line From collapsing in on itself time fixes itself by resting itself in the memories of the doctor. To put it shortly it's all a big ball of Wibbly wobbly timey wimey.
