On this video, we visit three churches that are said to be the oldest in the United States: Ysleta, Socorro, and San Elizario Missions. The missions are an important part of history in Texas, and Ren and I marveled at the architecture of each structure, and the stories they hold. The Ysleta mission church looks like very old church in NJ where I lived...it's beautiful! Socorro mission looks much like one in Tucson. This is also pretty. I love the look inside and out. San Elizario mission church is stunning! The museum is very interesting. I have wanted to visit old churches, so will check them out. You have doing such a wonderful job with your videos. Thank you so much for your tours. I like how you are giving addresses so I can look them up beforehand. The restaurant looked very nice and the food looked scrumptious. Hello, friend! It was such a great experience! Each church provides a pamphlet with information about their foundation and such. But it also gives info on history of surrounding area of each mission. We got to talk to someone at the Socorro mission and he gave us a cool history lesson!! The museum outside of San Elizario chapel is a definite must see! We hope you get a chance to visit them soon! @@julie_EnRen I love old churches and not sure if you visiting old and historical cemeteries may be of interest to you. I find it very interesting and the "residents^ there are quiet, hopefully.🤣 I went on a car rally and we stopped at some historical cemeteries. We actually took some rubbing of very old and pretty gravestones. Some of the "residents" have beautiful mausoleums or statues, along with lovely sayings or stories. Once, of course, the weather cools, this might be a trip you'd like. Way too hot for you to be outside very long right now. Well, good night to you all. 😴
