3 жыл бұрынNew strings! Finally a Low G for my Gurdy! The high notes are still a little bit tricky and the tangents need some adjustments, but it works for now.
I always wanted to play this wonderful soundtrack! Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim are some of my all time favourite games ^^
Usually it's in the key of C, but I wanted to test the new strings so I played it in G. I'm looking forward to do more Elder Scrolls Soundtracks, so stay tuned! And thanks for listening! :)

Good luck with that, a hurdy gurdy has approximately 90 moving parts, all of which have to work perfectly together. There’s a reason why hurdy gurdy luthiers study for many many years, and spend many more years afterwards perfecting their models!

@@l.a.ke live in Canada and my brother bought one it cost him a little over 2 grand for it and he got it from Poland from a lady and a guy the lady’s in a band and her channels name is called Annie gurdy her husband makes all the hurdy gurdys

I love the way a hurdy gurdy sounds so much. I love the way elder scrolls music sounds so much. Naturally I was inclined to like this video that was randomly recommended to me.

Thanks a lot! Indeed, the hurdy gurdy fits perfectly to this medieval style of music. Playing elder scrolls music on a hurdy gurdy is a lot of fun ^.^

Good decision! Congratulations! :) My Morrígan is a "Euphonia". The shape was my own idea and Helmut loved it so much that he decided to make an own series out of it (I'm a little bit proud of that fact xD) 3 Melody strings (g3, g4, c3) 1 Trompette in c (with capo up to e) Drones in C (with Capo up to E) and G Shadow PickUp System. Which strings are playing in hurdy gurdy?

Hello! On this gurdy I play with both of my g strings. Try a G viola for the low G and A viola string for the High G. For the low C i recommend a viola c. And don't use strings with metallic cores! Try synthetic or gut cores. :)

I know hurdy gurdys are hard to tune, but a fresh pass with a couple of the chords cleaned up would make this truly excellent. Good work over all. Love to see people giving the gurdy some love! :D

Good cover, but should be titled as Morrowind Main Theme* Don't want to be rude, but apart of Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim there was Arena and Daggerfall that have nothing similar with this theme. Oblivion and Skyrim reused this theme, but both changed it drastically and you were playing Morrowind version :)

It's okay :D When I uploaded this cover, I wasn't sure if the piece is called "Call of magic" or "Nerevar rising" as you can find sheets with both titles for the same melody. I will add morrowind's game number to the title :)
