Perhaps it’s because Disney is too expensive for the average family. 😢

When tickets are over priced, legendary rides get removed (splash mountain), and the company is ran that way it is, I’m not surprised.

We went to Disney after the 2008 crash. We were able to do anything at any time in the week we stayed. On the rides, we were able to just go around two or three times. I'll never forget that experience. I wish everyone could experience Disney this way.

I was told this years ago, the best time to visit Disney World is right after the kids go back to school. It has also gotten expensive for many families.

It's simply too expensive now. We went 2018 and 2019 and loved it. Then in 2022 it was vastly different - a huge let down. Genie + is a flipping cheek. So much broke down. So much dirt and litter. Cast members not as happy. Still, we wanted to give it another chance and booked for 2024. Having now seen the totally unreasonable price increases, we're cancelling. Not sure if we'll be back 😕. Those who still go and say "good, glad you're not coming! More room for the rest of us!"......enjoy it while it lasts because even you know this is not a good direction for the company to be going in

It’s a mystery to me that families are willing to spend so much to visit these parks. We did it once in 2018, and I swore it off forever. We took the kids to Europe this year-it was only a couple thousand more expensive, if that.

Hey Kyle! The Broadcast set up was actually “Breakfast Television” that airs on CityTV in Canada. The entire crew including hosts were in Disney World last week, broadcasting their entire Breakfast show from the Magic Kingdom! Very similar to Good Morning America, just a smaller scale.

Wow, Magic Kingdom is literally crumbling in places! You would’ve NEVER seen crumbling infrastructure in the past.

Thanks for showing the transportation experience to the park. I haven't seen that in any videos from other channels yet, so it's nice to see what that might be like. Some of us missed our chance when Disney was still reasonably priced, and will likely never get to go and experience it first-hand now. So a vicarious trip, through channels like yours, is the next best thing for us. Thanks.

I was going with an adult group in October since 2013 but once Covid hit we had to stay away due us being older. The cost also was a factor. All of the free things are gone like transportation from airport and now this genie plus stresses me out. I prefer to plan my days before I arrive at Disney, not everyday at 7am.

For years, we would to go to WDW right after Labor Day. There was never a crowd. Fast passes and unlimited park hopping. It was great.

The reason is the party later that night. People feel like they are wasting their ticket if they can't stay beyond 6pm. But it really is the best way to enjoy the park and leave before the kids are exhausted.

I drove my kids to Disney for the first time during Covid not knowing I needed tickets in advance and they wouldn’t let us in the park I’m sure I’m not alone on that unfortunately we couldn’t visit any Disney parks but I was able to make the most of it with other attractions in the area But for me… it was a once in a lifetime trip I’ll probably never get the chance to do again with them

When Disney has the Not So Scary Halloween Party, the park closes earlier for regular guests and charges like $120 extra per person to stay for the party. So, in those days regular guests tend not to go because they’ll spend less hours at the park. They go to other parks those nights. I was in Epcot yesterday and it was really packed because there was a not so scary party at Magic Kingdom.

2 reasons- 1- the economy - Disney has become ridiculously expensive 2- they are being boycotted

We adopted a new early morning strategy for the popular high-demand rides we love. We immediately ride a second time if the wait time is less than 20 minutes. We can still hit a lot of different rides while doubling our ride time with a lot less time & energy spent walking.

Wow! That makes we wish I was there!! With that crowd level you could have hit every ride and a few even a second time!!

We try to plan for off season crowds, but seems it's always busy when we visit. I would love, just once to go when the rides are "Walk Ons".

Many years ago for Easter break, we went to Florida Disney. Our school had an odd week off that year, and two mornings, we were the first car in the lot. No lines, pushy people, and we rode the monorail with the engineer the only other person in the train.

Man this is perfect!! Hopefully it looks like this my next trip! We try to go after all the spring break crowds and before summer.

Disney has always been expensive, but manageable if you wanted to make it happen…. Until Covid, ever since the prices have gotten out of control

The last time I saw it even close to that empty was when my kids were two and four. (They’re twenty and eighteen now) and it was at Disneyland in May. It may have been a “grad night” day as well.

Here in Cali, we have Disneyland, and it is pretty decent. The food is barely okay. The park itself is good. The major thing is that it still feels as if it was made for kids and the traditional family. Traditional families aren't the same as it once was before the 2000s. Nowadays, I see more people talking about Universal Studios being the place to go. It has everything from kid rides to extreme adult rides, movie rides, and of course the newest Super Mario Land. The food tastes a lot better, and they even rip on Disney on some of their rides. If you're a single adult, you just feel much better about yourself going to Universal. I feel Disneyland just gets kind of boring, whether I go with family or friends. Last time I went to Disneyland, which was before the pandemic, the park was busy, but it wasn't busy enough where me and my family were able to get through most lines in under 20 minutes. There would be the occasional ride where we just went right in with the small crowd. Universal still has 2-hour long lines for their Jurassic Park ride. Besides the prices, I think Disney parks just need an update, perhaps even an expansion. Let's face it, the parks are aging in a time where tik-tok is still growing rapidly. Universal has done the smart thing by making their park one big film set.

I road Space Mountain the day it opened on January 15th 1975. My dad and I were right up near the front and got onto the 2nd load of cars.

I love those visits! My daughter and I have never had to wait we make a plan and knock everything out early and head back to hotel enjoy pool etc. . We then go back and enjoy the park at night because the darkness takes it to another level..I'm from California and just love the visit to Florida too....

Wow, I remember taking my boys when they were kids, and you couldn't even stop to take pictures it was so crowded . This is insane.

Years ago I was staying at Wilderness lodge and then it was late night Magic kingdom was empty. Rode thunder mountain pulled into the station was ask want to go again I said why yes. Wish they still had late night.

The best time I can remember at the Disnayland Park was the opening day of the Olympics when they were in LA!! The park was so empty!! It was amazing!!

I don't want to brag, but I just got back from my families Disney vacation (staying at Pop Century). My girls are 8 and 5, and we utilized early entry, I think we were in Hollywood Studios at 8:15 lol. In short, we were not the best rope droppers, but we still got on rides right away, this trip was for my girls, and they had a good time. Their favorite part of the vacation was "swimming".

Magic Kingdom was super busy when I was there on Monday.

My wife and I were there about a month ago. And it was pretty crowded. But we really enjoyed it. Although I wish they would ease up on the prices. I'm Still die hard Disney fan so I guess I'll pay the crazy prices to go have fun.

They have been edging all their pricing as high as possible since the first covid reopening. And I get it, for a lot of the time, the price elasticity worked for them. I.e most people just paid the extra and the loss of the few people who decided not to go was massively outweighed by the the extra that others were paying. But they've just pushed it all too high now and also people's other bills have also gotten higher, so more people are stepping away from doing these trips. I think with this plus the opening of epic universe, they'll start to do some keen deals in the next few years

And perhaps they took away all the features that make them stand out from other vacations.…..like the magical express and fast passes. Not having the magical express is such a barrier and adds to the “headache” of planning. It was so breezy and smooth having it when our kids were young.

When I went in the early 80’s I think we had to take a boat ride to get to magic kingdom. Little boats with giant mercs where everywhere. Course night and day to today. I had a blast.

I highly recommend you and Casey sign up for run Disney event. It’s so weird getting to Epcot at 3am when everyone is sleeping and running through the parks while the sun is rising and it’s empty

Early, early AM is the best time of day. Everything is fresh and clean and quite.

I'm sure it's fine rope dropping in the offseason with reservations, but try that in the summer or on a holiday week (which is the only time most people can go...). :D

I can’t do Space Mountain either, the first time I rode I liked it I was in the main back, last time I rode it I was in the main front and I felt like I was going to fly out of the coaster car.

I was there this past Thursday to ride TRON for the first time and the crowd level wasn’t all that bad.

Im an anual passholder and I typically go to disney 2-3 days a week. And its crazy full. These past 2 months it been 90m to 140m wait times. I went 3 days ago to epcot and i didnt ride anything 'cuz everything was so full. So me and the fam. Just had a good time eati g and drinking. Walking around and buying merchandise. Now this past august it was slow and i truely enjoyed every second of it. Line was around 30min. I got on the ratatouille ride 4 times in less then 1hour. Now it just crazy. I wish utube allows pics so i can post a few of how its been theses past days.

A smattering of teens, yes, but not many youngsters.! Now, children get up early every day and go to school, so why are they not here at the early entry time? Any thoughts?

I was there two weeks ago, all the Disney parks, and Universal were packed full!

I’ve been there in the summer with my family of 7 and was packed but the genie + was a life saver and we did everything we wanted. We did miss the character breakfast cuz well having 4 girls in the family makes u late to everything no matter how much u plan 😂

Charging an arm and a leg per person for admission might be one of the reasons fewer people. Food is also a tad more expensive all over thanks to forced inflation

Kyle you are spot on about going on a party day! I have done it and crowds are much lighter. You hit the jackpot because it was really light crowd. I would have done Tron and every ride in the park on a day like you had 😁😎

My husband and son got evacuated off the Peter Pan ride. It was really scary for my 9yr old. Fire Department came and they had to take a ladder down. You don’t realize how high up you are! One of the fireman told my husband some spots are 17ft high. But, they’ll always remember it 😂

One time we were eating at the fast food place at Tomorrowland and a lady asked the employee, "Is this a ride?"

Crazy how empty it is. I went last year and it was packed like I had never seen it before. Can't say this is the emptiest I've ever seen though. I went right after 9/11 and the place was empty. We would finish a ride and they would ask who wants to go again and then walk us through a cast door to get to the loading area to reboard for the top tier rides. However, it was empty for a reason then because people were scared to travel.

It’s ridiculous prices keep people from going! Last time I went I bought the genie pass and still had to pay extra to use it on the 7 dwarfs and to ride tron was an extra 20 each
