Those of us addicted to Dimash's voice and performances are called Dears. The reason Dimash has so many people "addicted" to him is that he is also a great person and ambassador for his country. It's a 2 stringed instrument, with one string made up of 75 horse hairs, and the other string made from 60 horsehairs (and the curved bow which is made with 40 horse hairs). The strings aren't pushed down to a fret, but rather are played with pressure by either the fingernail, or by a pad on the finger, as well as the tones varied by the pressure of the bow.

I've never heard another guy with his vocal range and technical ability. He is also a multi-instrumentalist and linguist. The instrument is a Kobyz. I recommend you watch the performance that launched his international career. He was 22 when he performed first in a Chinese singing competition. He sang the demanding French song "SOS" on The Singer 2017.

Yes, our vocal god sweats, but know this, Dimash's concerts are almost non stop except for quick wardrobe changes. His concerts are about 3 to 3 1/2 hours long.
