Every song from him is a vocally murder song to sing, he makes it looks so easy but insane dynamic, technique , power in the songs are unmatched . I bet until you listen to his 30th song, you will be still surprised. He has different tools in his sleeves to pull and show each time. Trust me, I listen to many iconic vocalists : mariah, Whitney, Pavarotti, Beyoncé, etc…. In terms of vocal, I would say Dimash is off the chart. This guy’s vocal is on another level: powerful, dynamics control is insane, belt long note on F#5, G5, …. And changes key in the middle of note and higher higher, he mixed on C6 as well. Of course he only does whistle on 7th and 8th octave, he does head voice on 6th octave such as F6.

At the beginning he thanked for the applause received after the interpretation of the song Your Love, a song with the vocal spectrum from F2 to F6, not at all easy to sing. Everything is different. My two favorites now are Ave Maria(New Wave) and Ikanaida(Tokyo Jazz Festival)this is the first song Dimash sings in Japanese. He sings in over eight languages. I’ve been following him since 2017 when he was a contestant on the Chinese show Singer. He came in second but his career blew up during this show. He has fan clubs all over the world. Most importantly, he is a very humble and respectful young man. He performed to a sellout crowd at his New York concert in December of 2019. All of his concerts are sold out. As with everyone, Covid put his career on hold.

He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spanish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. The instrument is the Kobyz. It's a 2 stringed instrument, with one string made up of 75 horse hairs, and the other string made from 60 horsehairs (and the curved bow which is made with 40 horse hairs). The strings aren't pushed down to a fret, but rather are played with pressure by either the fingernail, or by a pad on the finger, as well as the tones varied by the pressure of the bow.

That “h” added to the beginning of the word “again” at the end of the song was just due to his accent when speaking/singing in English. His English accent (which I am sure he would agree) still needs improving. There is a lot of “h” and also “kh” sounds in his native tongue Kazakh , so again became “hagain” in that moment but it certainly didn’t make it heavy sounding and in fact he continued that same breath and sang the longest held note which went on for like 20 seconds. So the “h” did not ruin anything, not even a little for him... On a side note, he can sing in 12 languages but he is truly fluent only in two, which are Russian and Kazakh. Since Kazakhstan was a part of ex-Soviet Union, Kazakhs are bilingual in both Kazakh and Russian. And he also speaks some English but like I said he is not completely fluent yet and his English grammar and accent still need improving.
