From a storytelling and filmmaking standdpoint this is probably the best thing you've ever made. You should really submit this to a film festival for consideration.

The mic at the end 🥺 I'll never forget the memory of getting randomly interviewed by you, and the one Christmas special where you ate at White Castle holds a special place in my heart. I'll never forget you Brody ❤

That was an emotional Broad-Trip. I’m glad I was here for some of it. Part of it is the subject matter and knowing the story behind, but maybe one day I hope to see another Indie film. Maybe not from 8 Bit but just Brody. I wish you luck in whatever your future endeavours hold.

Double Dribble, things really did go full circle. Also really cool Anderson and Leone references! Got some midnight cowboy vibes but that might have just been the hat. Brody I'm so happy how far you've come and what you've done. Even in the end you put a smile on our faces. Thanks for every video you did and thank you for you. Some people, some people like game reviews exclusively While I myself I say there is naught Nor ought there be nothing so exalted On the face of God's grey earth As that Used Car Salesmen of Video Games... the 8 Bit Brody.

Brody, wherever life takes you, I hope you find happiness along the way. I know the youtube thing didn't pan out, but never stop creating. Even if it's for an audience of one. I have fantastic memories from the 8 Bit days, and I wish you the very best. Definitely didn't tear up at the end. Definitely. -Tyler

Fantastic film, love the cinematography and the presentation, lots of really nicely framed shots. The sound is great too. Very nicely done, and I don't think you failed or that you're a failure.

Geez Brody, this was moving. Felt like the film was in part the delirious path of a man clawing at success, and the other part is a person trying to keep their dream alive. I can feel the heart in this, the pain is clear. Just gonna say, sometimes things don’t work out, even when we put our whole heart into it. There’s countless body builders that work on their body every day, but there’s one success story that is Arnold Schwarzenegger, the difference sometimes is luck. Not everyone gets to be lucky. Not everyone is chosen. When you feel down, know that you’re not alone, there’s many artists that put their whole heart and mind into their art and weren’t seen. Some people did see you. Not to bog this down too much, but since you mentioned suicide at one point. I want to say that you should never take your own life. Things may be difficult but there’s always more to live for. Don’t hesitate to reach out to family and friends for support or the helpful people over at the suicide prevention lifeline by dialing 988.

A strange paradigm it is, but do remember, the best rarely shine brightly amongst their peers in their time. It's easier to see trees than it is view the forest. Citizen Kane flopped on release, Night of the Hunter was the only film Charles Laughton ever directed. Art is cherished through bizarre vectors unaffected by the march of time. The fresco painters of yore couldn't conceive their importance to those thousands of years yet unborn- yet here we stand admiring the art of the ancients. Perhaps your videos are like that, important works of levity, love, and life composed on the walls of a society unready to consume them. Something a tad melancholy I've noticed in my time on this rock is that good people, talented people, caring folks, rarely get ahead. The world is cruel and unfeeling, it nigh ever rewards the hardest working or most talented. Typically only the worst and most wretched amply succeed. This machine consumes the young and spits out bones and ash. I’m not saying it's hopeless, or rather I am desperately hoping it’s not. We burn out or rust, into the void we are thrust and to the inheritors memory of our visage we entrust. Good luck out there buddy. Be seeing you.

I dont get it. Is this even real? If you wouldve just continued the convention interviews and made regular gaming videos you'd be a huge succes. Yet you just randomly uploaded random nonsense most of the time and kept me wondering what you were actually doing in between. I figured you already had a job and that was the reason for the low amount of quality videos. You're strange man but all the best to you!
