Lord I accept the end of an era in my life,I’m tired of holding on to things I would naturally had let go

“Connection is what we need when we’re desperate to be affirmed. Protection is when you recognize who you are, so I can’t just connect with anybody anymore. Gotta be willing to value protection over connection. I gotta protect what God is doing down on the inside of me, I can’t just connect with anybody. No, I just can’t connect with anyone anymore - that was the old me, a lesser version of who I was - the anointing was there but I was too desperate for affirmation - I had to come to a place where I understood who I am. And when I understand who I am, I’m more willing to protect it, than connect with it. That’s why I can be by myself, because I’m willing to protect it more than I’m willing to be connected.”

I've been listening to Sarah lately and its just beautiful to see how life is unfolding for me, just last weekend I was depressed and sitting in my bed for 3 days and I started watching Sarah on here , sermon after sermon and it exposed me to Devon Franklin, PT and a lot of other material I have just been feeding my spirit, a week later I have a testimony of how good God is, i start a new job on Tuesday after being unemployed for nearly 7 months, also I'm not drunk out of my mind on a Fri night, POWER MOVES and most importantly I'm at peace with myself and not feeling anxious or depressed ! God is Good, Jesus is the way, the truth and the light! GIRL I GOT UP, and it is the end of an era, thank you Sarah, your ministry may be centered around women but my life is changing, I used to be bored out of my mind watching Christian or faith based material, now its all I want to do in my free time. And when I tell you the war has been going down in that closet, only difference is now I'm showing up prepared!! To God be the Glory, only in Him have I found my refuge and restoration, only through Him, His love, grace and mercy for me through Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit am I now learning the true meaning of what it means to be loved by Him.

After praying something led me to this message 🥺🤞... Last year I lost my mother... My best friend... My everything... And I haven't been the same ever since 😭... But this message brought me light. I received the word during the week of my home cooking after long draining training. This marks the end of Era of the old me. As I welcome the new me❣️

Oh Jesus, I remember watching this in real time and it hit my soul so deep. Something about the way she delivered this word and the red just added so much conviction. I knew this word was straight from God to me. I quit my job of 14 years a month later (I knew a change was coming but had no idea what it would actually be). Two weeks later I started my own consulting firm, and here I am 10 months later. It has not been easy but the Lord has been blessing and sustaining me. I’m watching this word again to remember where it all started. 💫
