@@PunxTV123 Well, if you want to be spoiled... then to anyone else, *SPOILER ALERT* Apparently "everyone with intelligence and will" is capable of using the "fundamental cosmic energy" in the MCU, that includes humans, and basically this is what the celestials control. This is how they are "space gods". When a celestial is born, then it is put into a planet to grow, and when intelligent life appears on it, the growing celestial feeds off of the cosmic energy that intelligent life possesses. This is when the deviants come into the picture. It is quite different in the MCU than it is in the comics. The clelestials thought that if the apex predators on the planets were nonexistent, intelligent life would appear sooner, speeding up the process. So they made the best apex predator there is, and sent them to planets to wipe it clean of dangers, and allow intelligent life to grow. They were too good at doing their job, and killed off everyone, while they evolved aswell, becoming the most dangerous "cosmic predators". So the celestials created the eternals, who are basically androids on space god steroids, to wipe off the deviants and help the intelligent life to prosper until it is needed. Once a cricital amount of population is reached, the celestial does not need to siphon energy anymore, and it can awaken, and live a separate life, controlling the universe on a large scale just like it's fellows. This is called the emergence, and it has an uncanny side effect: It blows up the planet. Only the celestial and the eternals survive this process, the eternals only because they are connected to the newborn celestial and protected by it, and then Arishem comes, takes them to a separate place, wipes their memories clean, and send them to a new world with a new celestial to protect. By killing half of the population, this event is delayed. When it was reversed, the process was immediately ready to be started. The new celestial was killed by turning the connection against him. They used his own power against him while he was awakening to turn him into.. something else. Apparently marble. The point is they killed him.

While nazies wanted to exterminate people based on their arian race stuff bs, the celestials are needed to create the universe and not having one could be damaging to a scale that we cannot even begin to understand. Given that Tiamut was ready to emerge only after 14 millions years and 7 billions people present i'm willing to bet that there really not many celestials out there. When you think of the big picture as they probably must, earth had its fair time being whole and one before Tiamut started to awake. Also Ikaris knew the truth after their time in babylone so he had plenty of time to think about what side to take. Think about it this way: if this stuff was real, what you deem to be wrong (celestial way of being born) is precisly what created you and allowed you to even argue that very question. I'm kinda with Ikaris here.

@Leonardo Santuario But we (earth) were born throught the same process. If the eternals refused to do their job then we of the human race would not have been born. So in a way Ikaris (by extension the celestials+eternals who did their job) is already a hero.

Loved it to! Wish could have seen more of the SHIP/DOMO. very 2001 space Odyssey vibe there and Phastos, the voice of Miles Morales dad, from the spider verse. Angelina going blonde, .. and the little plot twists that kept you guessing.. And the sequel set ups... Definitely my new favorite superhero movie.. hope they get a cross over with THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

@@madambutterfly1997 I don’t think that’s gonna happen simply because the character of Knull is far too powerful, The style of his character and even his story we are about three phases at least away from that. if anything I think I like this is a stretch but after watching the Eternals I think it’s Valid. Knull, however, not likely
