It’s a sad truth, but all good things must come to an end! This week we share the final leg in our latest US Road trip adventure. After outlet shopping with the boys. we enjoy a glorious sunset at one of the most beautiful campgrounds we’ve found in the US; Moro State Park Campsite. We then continue our journey to LAX Airport to catch our flight home.

Our family have been roaming around the UK, Europe and US since 2007. We set off on each trip with only a rough destination in mind, allowing the roads we take and places we stop to evolve as we meet new friends along the way.

It actually feels like it’s been a five week trip, thoroughly enjoyed watching all your travels. Brought back memories of last visit to LA and a road trip to many of the same places 30 + years ago 😧 Wow Vegas has changed. The motorhome was just amazing.

Hi guys just found your channel. We are too old to do what you are doing now however in our time we trailed a caravan all over Europe so it’s lovely to see similar places we did in the 70/80/90s. Gives us nice memories even tempting again but at 84 and 78 think we can call it a day 😂😂 just keep entertaining us 💝

FYI the legal drinking age in the USA is 21. Your trip looked amazing. Next time come to Michigan.

Thanks. I know you need to be 21 to buy alcohol but understand California law allows individuals under 21 to consume alcohol in private locations if a parent, guardian, or relative over the age of 21 is present.

Do you have the bags you can suck the air out you dont need a vacuum there is a small gadget you can use save a lot of space in the suit cases

San Clemente, I was there in a group of lads 25yrs ago at a Day’s Inn (Hotel) We’d all been out in a bar and at 2am we had 8 in an outdoor hot tub all drunk and naked. At breakfast time we all walked in to restaurant area to find their cctv video being watched by 40+ customers,….. guess what they where watching x that’s right, 8 fat, drunk & naked English men in a hot tub at 2am in the morning they all applauded us when we got recognised…..

I understand that most campsites have either 30amp or 50amp hookups. They have some big rigs over there with some having 3 or 4 air conditioners on the roof so they have plenty of power available if needed.

@@RoamingRadfords Actually still not legal but excepted. I have a cousin who is a cop and they rarely prosecute parents for contributing but he said they can if they wanted to. I have live in CA all my life and I am 66 years old.

Well that was another awesome tour of the States. Great to have you back in good old Blighty and looking forward to your next trip. I have a question, I can see that you are "foodies", (not sure how your older boys keep so slim), but on your travels around the land of the free, have you ever encountered a "Wendy's"?. Apparently their fast-food is of a superior quality than MacDonalds. I've been to Florida on a couple of occasions, but I don't recall ever eating at one of their restaurants. There is a new video just posted to the "Jolly" YT channel, where American food in given the taste-test by London schoolboys and their headmaster. Their videos are always hilarious and they have almost 4 million subs. I can't hotlink the URL as YT will delete this comment, but I hope you have a look, and see what you think about it. Enjoy our mild weather while it lasts, but I think it's back to normal next week!

@johnbrown9588 You don't need to travel to the USA to sample a Wendy's. There is one in Reading, which reopened in 2021 after a 20-year absence. Thus far it's the only one in the UK, but if you are ever in the area, it's well worth a visit, and I agree with the boys in the "Jolly" channel video, much better quality and taste than MacDonalds. Thanks for the link to the video, loved the "Hang in there Wendy" quip! 🤣🤣🍔🍟🍨

@@timjolly3828 Ah, thanks for that, it makes sense, They must have bought the samples they used in the video from the Reading branch, that's why they looked so fresh. Next time I drive to Bristol, I'll turn off the M4 at Reading and try one, must be better than the Moto services. It was Rory who said, "Wendy's still alive? Hang in there, Wendy". Lots of golden one-liners in that video, lol.
