Interesting fact: Tatsumaki was not supposed to oneshot the Ancient King with a meteor, this was a misinterpretation of the animation team of how ONE wanted it to be animated, she was only supposed to drop a boulder on him, causing him to have a flashback of a meteor that wiped out his race. Murata also mentioned that if she could pull down a meteor just like that, she would've been able to pull down Boros' ship without effort as well.

There's the continent Europe which contains all the european countries. Including the UK, and also parts of countries that are not fully on the european continent like Turkey for example. Then there's the European Union (EU) which contains a large part of the continent as it's territory. The EU is sortoff like the United States in that there's a parlement representing all member nations and there is visa free travel within it's borders, so no checkpoints or border patrol between memberstates. However, the member states are autonomous countries on their own and all have their own national elections in a few different democratic styles. Some are republics (France) while others are constitutional monarchies (Netherlands) or federations of even smaller states (Germany). Many nations have their own language but the vast majority of the EU memberstates share the same currency, the Euro. Then there's also overseas territories that belong to many former colonizer european nations that make it even it even more complicated. Anyways, Europe is complex but united by diversity and a shared history. PS: to all the EU folks reading, don't forget to vote for the EU parlement next month 6th - 9th of June! 🇪🇺

If you pay attention in the giant meteor ep, opm's earth depicted differently than real earth. It has one huge super continent instead of some separated continents. And in that one supercontinent are the cities located like countries. So cities in opm are huge indeed.

Doesn't help that the abbreviation "EU" applies to both "Europe (continent/region)" and "European Union (political/economic union)". To make things simple, UK will forever and always be European or "part of Europe", just like Switzerland is, despite neither being European Union members. Just as Canada is a North American country even though it doesn't belong to the USA (or that the term "NA" is also just as often conflated with USA, even when it also applies to Canada, I guess it's the same type of issue).
