i’m in the queue literally right now, and they ripped out almost all of the “tech” that made it so unique. i hope they revitalize it soon, because it’s a shell of its former self.

This is the best Wild Mouse I have ever rode, I hope it stays.

A fun fact that most people don’t realize originally Idyllwild Park Sister Park of Kennywood was originally going to receive this coaster the exterminator as their wild mouse but because it was too thrilling they change their mind and went to Kennywood instead if I didn’t do well at Kennywood, they would move it to Idlewild. There has been a few examples, the balloon race, and a few other rides.

I dont understand why they would remove it. The ride always has atleast a 20 minute wait time.

there not gonna get rid of it they just added a camera to take pic while on the ride they was working on Sunday and when i rode it Sunday and the animatronics was moving so idk if it was just a Sunday thing but its not closing

They have the Exterminator and are NOT getting rid of it

It doesn’t need shut down, kennywood just needs to stop being cheap and just redo the ride since half of every animatronics and shock machine thing, they need fixed, such as the line queue

Well their are rumors that they are bringing back the exterminator pre show, so I don’t understand why they would get rid of it with stuff being done like that

I doubt it now because they now added ride photos to it

I would hope that Exterminator doesn't close, but it would make sense if it's at the end of it's service life, it would be a sad day, but I would hope that Kennywood would improve on it and get something better in place of it. I think they could keep the building and build one of those coasters like DarKoaster or if there's enough room build a coaster by Intamin or Zierer and make a coaster with a drop track.

The exterminator is the last "edgy" ride in the park, once it goes kennywood is fully a kids park. Ive been going to KW my entire life, i remember the goldrusher and the original old mill, it had scary rides. Now i mostly love kennywood during frightnights

My theory is Kennywood is going to remove the exterminator and the Pittsburgh plunge and replace it with an ultra surf coaster with a vertical spike; like the same one that Six Flags over Georgia got for 2024 season. But taller, And I think the name of the ride is gonna be even called The Point, Three River-point, or what if it’s called Regatta Point: just like to indicate the water fountain downtown, and all the stuff that goes on at point State Park like the Regatta or the Fourth of July fireworks. Think about it you got the Pittsburgh Steelers theme roller coaster. They might just actually call it Project point. and you figure right along with the music expresses they’re going to work their way around and call that the southside. Think about it. 🤔 but I’ll bet you this ride will mimic the three rivers downtown the Allegheny River, the Ohio river, and the Monongahela River. But what if somehow the ride was made up of the three different rivers almost like a water race Ride. Then I’ll bet you once they do this they take out the raging Rapids. and replace it with a new big dipper roller coaster, and they might call that the bigger dipper.

I would be DEVASTATED

They could also be preparing for a massive makeover for the ride since they usually do something dark ride related every 4 years.

Why isn't the ride open for Holiday Lights?

Kennywood needs to purchase the new RMC Wild Moose they just announced. They will fit perfectly with some new space theming.

I don't believe it would close why would they go through the effort of making a proper speedy pass line and adding on ride photos if they were just going to remove it?

I like the chances of a new coaster if it does close because last time a beloved attraction (Log Jammer, Kangaroo) closed they either replaced it, or brought it back. I have also been saying that a Vekoma S.T.C. Is a good fit for Kennywood

I absolutely hate the exterminator as far as I can remember the animatronics never worked maybe only one time. It’s always broken down. And it’s in the dark fuck this ride
