LES GOOOOOO. I was sad Malzeno kinda didn't get much during TUs, and I was banking on him getting a risen or variant to make him real special. he didn't disappoint, he's hype as fuck.

Considering how strong Primordial Malzeno is for an Elder, Gaismagorm just got a lot more scarier, since it can turn such powehouse into a walking skeleton. The Qurio's virus must be one hell of a drug, I mean, regular Malzeno looks and behaves like an addict in comparison to its base form, the Qurio's symbiosis wasn't really mutualistic after all.

Consume life basically Monster Hunter may be about hunting monster, but it also teaches a lot about rules and conflicts of nature. Malzeno in fact was the reason why the TRUE threat Gaismagorm was taking longer to consume all the blood from many monsters. Malzeno, created a connection with the Leeches Qurios. And used their power as his own. Preventing Gaismagorm, the Devil, to surface. And since there is no Gaismagorm. The Qurios went rampaging every where and feasting and changing monsters habitats. And Primordial Malzeno, is the TRUE Malzeno’s Form, without the Qurio’s Bond. And the Qurio… Is the True Demon Lord. Feasting Constantly, consuming life without end. Destroying the balance of Nature. Sorry for the long answer, I just wanted to be sure it was understandable 😅😓

@@ZorrinKozaki I think that there isn't really a "Demon Lord", the legend is meaningless as these events never really happened before, otherwise we would have at least a description or immage of Gaismagorm prior to its appearence. The fact that the events happened to follow the legend is just a coincidence, infact the legend was proven wrong when the "Demon Lord" never showed itself. I don't think the Qurio can be considered as such, I wouldn't consider them a separate entity from Gaismagorm, they are part of it, basically they are its power and influence, and its "offsping". It would be like considering the Frenzy a separate entity from the Magalas, it can exist without them, but it is not indipended of it. The Qurio are just a proxy of Gaismagorm, they can't even survive without it, the one that managed to escape from the pit was either a mutant or "failsafe" seeking another final host, wich would probably be another Gaismsgorm, as their are biologicaly dependent. As for why they are attacking Malzeno and other Elders it is probably for traveling purposes, they "hope" that by using them as disposable hosts they might end up finding another Gaismagorm to inhabit. At the end it is just a matter of what we belive, there is no right or wrong as this is Monster Hunter after all, and all the informations we have are either incomplete or potentially wrong as alwais; you can't understand Nature, you can only try to.

IMO, this was a beautiful ending to Elgado’s story. Malzeno wasn’t evil from the beginning, it was once revered as a guardian knight that defended the kingdom's peace. I believe that due to probably having a territorial dispute with Gaismagorm in the past, it succumbed to the Qurio’s affliction and became the vampire lord we knew from before. However, due to the Qurios gaining a new “master”, Malzeno kept them from giving Gaismagorm energy and made it lay dormant underground for an extended period of time. It became a monster to keep the devil from ever resurfacing. This probably makes me respect and love Malzeno even more then before. I hope Capcom brings back Malzeno in future MH titles going forward.

This fight was one of my absolute favorites. The lore, the combat, the design, everything about this monster was amazing. Thus the best way to wrap up the 5th Generation. Kinda emotional since 5th Gen was when I first started playing Monster Hunter it impacted me greatly. Excited for what comes next the MH series. Well done Zorrin.

One of my favorite things about monster hunter is the ecology aspect and this fight has it in spades. Add the great fight, music, and for monster hunter not a bad story element. Top 20 maybe top 5 gift for me.

That Malzeno fight looks quite difficult. I was even surprised that it can teleport. My favorite moment is the part where the Malzeno was fighting against the parasite butterflies. And thank you Zorrin. Happy Hunting.

Malzeno: Slashes thrusts like he's using a sword. Apparently every MH youtuber: Damn, what a nice spear. Actually, P!Malzeno is both a spear AND sword’n’shield wielder. The tail is the spear and the wings act as the sword & shield.

I also fought Primordial Malzeno solo and dang, he whooped my ass so much and so many times by using his great sword-like wings and his spear-like tail (it was basically wielding 3 weapons while i could only use 1).😅 But looking at the bright side, he did gave me his gem twice out of pity for me during those failed attempts. Truly a knight in shining armour. 🙃

I gotta ask, what layered armor are you using? And is the wilhelm scream unlockable in-game, or did you add it while editing? If I could make my hunter do that every time she got hit, I 100% would XD

The layered Armor I am using is the DLC cosmetic called the “Lance Gunn” And the wilhelm scream is an edit, which I do lots of them Honestly tho… There should beld be a mod for that for PC 😂

when mh6 comes i hope the flagship is no elder dragon i want something else like a snake wyvern or crab and i hope the return of 3rd gen monsters like lagiacrus gobul nibelsnarf agnaktor and gigginox but new monsters are welcome too cant wait what the next gen brings

This is a way better True Final Boss than Fatalis. He was a good fight but it gets dull fast, also his equipment just beat the game while Primordials is good but can be strong without it
