I'm sure everyone told you by now but in end cities there are a load of ender chests, so you don't loose your stuff. You can also make them with eyes of ender. Also also, if you make a two block high lil nook in the end you can farm ender pearls since there are so many endermen and they can't get into spaces smaller than 3 blocks high, so you can get around the end pretty easily
