That was a great video!! As someone with congenital (anterior) hypopituitarism it was really informative. I often struggle to explain to non informed people what the pituitary is and why I am chronically ill. Unfortunately (if you got this far and were wondering how I became this way) my mother was hit by a drunk driver while pregnant with me. She broke her spine and lost oxygen. My dad, being a paramedic was able to put her neck in a stable position before passing out himself from his injuries. It was touch and go for my mum and being the early 90's, they thought I did not survive. Months of amnesia later mum had a 8wk premmy me!

Yes, the two bosses of our endocrine system!! Great video, specially liked how the teaching was aided with both by use of the cadaver and a diagram. As always, very informative. The best part however, was the time-stamp at 17:13. A humble request. Could you take up the other endocrine glands as well? Wouldn't mind longer videos, if that's ok to ask.

Absolutely love your channel. I’m not in the medical field ( actually the maintenance field) how similar our bodies are to mechanical) However I suffer from hypothyroidism for 25 years taking amour thyroid. I’d love to see more on the thyroid function along with , of course the pituitary gland etc.

Great explanation of a complicated cascade of events. One thing I have to mention though. It would be fantastic if someone, after being diagnosed with a thyroid problem, were not just immediately put on thyroid meds. Conventional doctors don't bother checking all the other structures that could potentially be causing a thyroid problem. Patients are simply given synthetic T4 (when the human thyroid actually releases 4 thyroid hormones in addition to calcitonin). Never made sense to me. No wonder thyroid patients usually still experience brain fog, can't lose weight, and are always tired.

You guys are just the best out there In what you do. Pleaaase keep it up, your videos are quite helpful I'm forever grateful for every single second you spend so that we get to enjoy this level of awesomeness 😍😍.

On this channel you're talking about a lot of (very complicated) processes. I have one very important question, can you make a video about the way (principles, methods, etc) it is known the chemical proceesses you are talking about? Can you mention for example who, when and how determined that oxitocin is produced in one neuron from hypothalamus and is transferred to pituitary gland? Or, to give you another example who, when and how determined what happens with the water we drink (where, when and how is absorbed, where is used inside the body, etc)? Don't forget that we're talking about living organisms, these processes should be studied on living organisms. I'm very interested in these topics.
