They need to get a grip! Who decided that monstrosity needs to be restored! That was a TERRIBLE place!!! SO MANY PEOPLE WERE BRUTALLY MURDERED THERE!!! They shouldn't even let those ruins remain standing 'as is'! They should go in with wrecking balls, dynamite, and bulldozers and haul the remaining debris to be used as landfill. The Roman Colosseum is a shameful reminder of a horrific time period.

Your garden is beautiful. I'm very fortunate to live in a city where nature-scaping, reclamation, wilding and pollinator gardening are encouraged for residential properties and are now the go to landscape plan for city properties so these sorts of neighbor disputes are on the decrease. Alot of the older generation of folks in our city are struggling to recognize not only the beauty of wild/indigenous plant landscaping but all the other benefits - less labor costs, lower water use, benefits to pollinators/wildlife, insecticide/chemical fertilizer free spaces. Lots of folks were raised to believe in the precisely manicured lawn with water hungry perennials and annuals, which also has its own beauty and a sense of achievement. Its symbol of the order and perfection folks were taught to strive for. And it make sense that its hard for folks to recognize another way of new generation. Amazing that a garden can be viewed as an act of rebellion but its not just a garden. Its a symbol of a new set of priorities and the change that comes with the seasons from one generation to the next. Ive watched all of your shorts to gain a sense of your story and the way the dispute has escalated into harrassment is pretty clear. And its effect on you and your family is also quite clear. When we hold our home as our refuge it is so stressful to feel antagonized in that space. I really feel for you folks. If I may send some wishes your way. I wish that this escalates no further and without violence. I wish for you all that it can be resolved. I wish for both your family and your neighbors to regain peace in your home spaces. Peace is such a precious thing in this world. And I wish for your garden to continue to flourish. You've got yourself a dynamite little ecosystem there. 💚💚💚
